I've been informed that someone (I'll let them speak for themselves) was considering leading it. I was very anxious to start it myself when ARR comes out since I knew it was time for a new sack-holder (as is what has become Intermission tradition, no one leader for too long shall have it yes?), but I don't want to step on his toes now that he's voiced his interest to me. I'll wait my turn.

Omg. How did they not know?! I'm a fan. I loved when he showed up at RP events. I hope he comes back for ARR.

However, if the game comes out and it's implied that we all appear at once.. it'd be pretty easy to come up with a reason as to why they've still been off the radar for whatever period of time you need before you can come back to the game. No reason to break lore and say they showed up late due to some fluke or something. x3 I will probably just start up when everyone else does (particularly those Aysun already knows). Though I'm dying to as start as soon as we find out where we appear/what happens, I know this isn't possible for everyone.

Don't be intimidated. (Easier said than done, I know, I'm still intimidated by RP quite often..) Once we get in game, it'll just happen. Maybe you're like me, and are more intimidated by planned RP sessions than spontaneous ones, and you'll be just fine in game? I think I have trouble committing to non-canon mostly due to the fact that anything that happens I can't use for development. Non-canon really does help you get a feel for your character, but it's always sad when you're like 'THIS IS AWESOME but.. but.. shit, it's non-canon.' I'm always willing to try though, to help ya feel settled. But.. since planned RP makes me nervous, if you ever want to RP, just tell me you want to/post at me, instead of asking. Hehe. x3

Race doesn't matter much when it comes to your job choice, statistically anyway. Lalafell Dragoon can be just as epic as a Elezen.. though I think the Elezen dragoons look faaar more awesome than any other race (Eva~Wear your armor more often!). I'm thinking highlander females are going to look pretty sweet as dragoons too. Welcome~!

First, let me say I'm glad that you have decided to join us officially. : ) Welcome, it's always great to have new RPers and please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Like you, my only MMO was XI before XIV came around. I made the jump over to XIV and RP was pretty much what kept me here until the game itself started to become more enjoyable. I'm hoping you'll consider making your main leveled character your RP character, but can understand if you have connections/linkpearls on another server to keep in touch with. I only say this because I have seen people try to have a main character for leveling and an alt for RPing and it is difficult for them. RP isn't (unfortunately) something that is going on all the time, so when you log in on your RP character and don't see any RP to jump into, you may log off and go to your other character.. when five minutes later, some RP pops up! You will have missed it! What a lot of us do as these are our main characters is level/play the game in the "downtime" between RP (or RP in the downtime between raids!), or we speak on our RPLS's in-character to see if we can incite some during the quiet times. While events are scheduled often, there's nothing better than just bumping into someone and starting up some unplanned random RP! Not to say you can't make it work just fine, (don't let that scenario discourage you from delving into an RP character) I just wanted to let you know how it works sometimes in game! : ) You might just end up leveling your RP-only character too, just because! Welcome, again!

I... hate to say it but I enjoy the old Limsa theme a lot more. I think this one just changes tempo too much for me. It'll probably grow on me though.

While I think that picture is helpful, Deir, it does rely on the assumption that those are all "average" height. All I know is that when I played in 1.0, Aysun was "short" and the top of her head was just above the belly of a tall Elezen! They're tall. I for one think this discussion is just kinda going to go in circles until we check it out in beta. Let it go~
