Hi there everyone! So, you may or may not know me, I was pretty involved with the RP scene when I played a few months ago. I quit, and I'm trying to get back into the game, but one of the biggest things for me is RP. So, getting right into it, I recently read a series of books, and I got a great idea for RP from it, and as of now, I'm looking for a person of reasonable power (wether in their FC, or just in general) to be the body guard of. My character has specific magical abilities that coincide with gunpowder and the use of guns. I can go into a bit more detail if anyone is interested. I'm not actively searching for an FC, but if I make a good fit, and you can see me in your ranks, I'll certainly consider it. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, hit me back here! Before there was Log Horizon, there was .Hack//sign, and this question has come into mind, not just for this game, but several others. With the question of Immortality out in the open, then I would definitely continue adventuring, gathering up my band of allies, and attempting to continue the fight for Eorzea. With everything becoming a reality, than the concept of primals destroying the world is now a very, very real problem. But on the same token, we don't need just 4 adventurers any more to fight the primals. All of that sudden influx of jobs could all be focused on fighting off the forces invading and threatening Eorzea, and of course, once the primal was dead, they would be dead until summoned again, not until the Queue pops up again. So then you could focus on passifying the beast tribes, and eventually bringing peace to a once war-torn game. Then I'd pick up fishing.

Good Evening Roleplayers! You might remember me from a few weeks ago, advertising for a Concept FC. Well! Good news! The concept has flourished into reality... With one short coming.. We have acquired three of the leaders I was looking for. The final of the four is a staff wielding, flame throwing, bad ass, which we seem to be lacking.. So basically, what I'm looking for, is someone with a very loose back ground, that can meld into a "leader" position of a spell slinging Clan, that I will approach to join under my banner, job doesn't matter, and level does not matter, as long as your character, IC, has an affinity for magic. There is obviously a lot more details than that, but this is just the general idea. Update Via Olyver UPDATE! Who: RP FC Leaders and two Officers (maximum) Where: The Aftcastle in Limsa, the Emerald Avenue in Ul'dah, The Botanist's Guild in Gridania. When: March 21st in Ul'dah, March 22nd in Gridania, March 23rd in Limsa Lominsa. 8PM EST every night. Why: Build open-world RP, include currently excluded RPers and generally build the RP community How: IC Recruitment for the first half hour to an hour followed by OOC sharing of goals, such as current houses/housing goals, raiding goals, RP goals, etc. Advertising will be done the entire week before the event via IC shouts/word of mouth through talking in the inn and market, as well as during the event in the two other cities via shouts. Shouting should always be done by a bard, being the entertaining/heralding class. Further dates will be posted a week to two weeks prior to the actual event; expect at least one of the recruitment weekends a month. If you are not looking for an FC, please feel free to come just to join in the RP - if you're in an FC that is attending and wish to come, please do not crowd the area around your FC. We want all FCs, including smaller ones, to benefit from this; as such, boasting higher numbers that appear will diminish the smaller FCs chances of growing and will ultimately destroy the entire purpose of this event. Hello, Roleplayers! I haven't been on RPC as much as I should have been, but I'm finally getting around to checking in, here, at RPC. So, without further ado. The names Bruden, I've been playing MMOs for nearly 6 years, now, and roleplaying for about 5 years, started RPing in Warcraft III, which transitioned to World of Warcraft, Aion, Guild Wars 2, and now here. As for roleplaying here, I plan on being somewhere between Heavy, and medium, I'm looking forward to a lot of inner-FC roleplay, and open world RP as well! As for real life.. United Blades is a new Free Company set around the four "Blade" clans that encompass it's ranks. He will assign Company wide contracts, and assist in events and stories held by other members. The Diamond Queen is in charge of the Diamond Blades clan. Leading them through events, stories, progression. The Diamond Blades are the Defenders, Bulwarks, Merchants, and salesmen. They believe in justice, freedom, and fairness. Although consisting of mostly paladins, craftsmen, warriors, and merchants, anyone who believes in equality is welcome amongst this group of honorable blades. The Ebon Giant is in charge of the Ebon Blades clan. Leading them through events, stories, and progression. The Ebon Blades are the Spies and the Mercenaries. The Shadows and brutal front lines are the playgrounds of these blades. Their ability to sheer through the lines of enemies, and flank them behind without notice earned them a place amongst the United Blades. The Ivory Druid is in charge of the Ivory Blades clan. Leading them through events, stories, and progression. The Ivory Blades are the Healers and the Gatherers. These blades are extremely attuned to the world around them. Using the natural magics, and gathering abilities, they heal their allies, smiting enemies, and gathering resources for the merchants. The (Enchanted Blade) is in charge of the Enchanted Blades clan. Leading them through events, stories, and progression. The Enchanted Blades are the sorcerers, summoners, arcanists, and spell slingers. What they lack in brawn, they more than make up for in brain. Using their skills, these blades enchant weaponry, and blast their enemies to ashes. The Unsworn are new members, or members switching clans, that do not belong to a specific clan, or have not decided on one. Although you may not need to be a specific job to join any of the clans, some training might be required before you can be sworn into the Blades. _________________________________________________ Once a member has been sworn into a clan, they will do missions and events with that clan, and will be promoted into their ranks at the guild meeting following their swear-in. Clan leaders will be in charge of assigning training, and swearing in new members. If a member decides to switch clans, They will be stripped of their rank, and moved into the "Unsworn", quickly followed by the training needed to move them back into the Blades. A different ceremony will be held at the guild meeting, signifying their switch in Clan. The story is written, and continued, by the actions of the members, and events that take place. All very good advice, and I agree whole heartedly. I'm currently working on the lore and hierarchy of the FC, as well as the guidelines, all of which will be posted on the website that I'm in the process of building. I really want to start getting some attention on this, though, so that when I do release all the info, it's not a pain trying to find new members. Expect that website soon. And thank you both for the wonderful advice. I'm taking it to the bank, for sure.

Thank you! I hope to make it work, if I get enough intrest. I'm making the website now, kinda like a rough draft, to post some stories to and what have you, so that I can give people the general idea as to what the Free Company is / will be.

Good Afternoon, Roleplayers. I have a concept idea that I'd like to put out on the table, I'm trying to get a FC started, with a couple basic concept idea, my problem? I need leaders. I'm looking to create a kind of "United Blades" FC, where 4 'clans' come together to form one large free company. The idea is that each 'Blade Clan' represents a different set of classes, or ideals, and I'll need a leader for each clan. Here's the concept for the Hierarchy. Head Blade (Myself) The four Clan leaders (If you become the leader, you can make your own 'Title') The Ebon Blades The Golden Blades The Ivory Blades The Enchanted Blades and then, underneath each leader they will have members of their clans, People just coming into the FC will be put in an 'Initiate' rank, until they have decided on a clan to join. A basic break down of each clan: The Ebon Blades: Our Spies, and our mercenaries, anyone who has no problem doing the dirty work. The Golden Blades: Our defenders, and our Merchants. This is the clan that represents justice, and honor amongst salesmen. The Ivory Blades: Our healers, and our Gatherers. With a close bond to the planet, they seek out resources, and heal those who have been hurt. The Enchanted Blades: Our Sorcerers and summoners. Using their magic to protect the clan at all costs. A lot of this can be more fleshed out as the time arises, but I'm looking to do a lot of RP events, as well as individual story building. I want a living FC, where not a single member feels left out, and everyone has a chance to progress their story, as well as the story of the FC.
