Even GW2 had EU and NA RP servers when I played, and that game didn't even have the numbers FFXIV has, let alone WoW. LOTRO as well had EU and NA RP servers. Having 2 RP servers is a normal thing and people shouldn't be afraid of it.

I am in a Slav country. I used to have ping of 120-130. Now my lowest is 200, and I can spike up to 265. The game is uplayable as it's so erratic and the attacks go off a few seconds after they should.

You are a NA player and can do both RP and PvE easily. EU players can't do both due to one little thing called LATENCY. I personally refuse to pay a monthly sub just for RP as I can't do anything other than that after the server move. EU server should be established. And that is the difference between any former attempt and this one. We are forced to do this by a little fact that we can't play the game like we used to.

Right now, the RP community can't accept new people as the server is closed shut. I've always hated that most events on the server are NA centric and whenever a EU centric event was being made, NA people whined that they can't attend it that it should be moved to their time, and people budged for some reason. I guess mainly so they don't offend NA players? This is one more reason why I'm all for a EU RP server.

I am for this idea. If we're moving the community, I vote one of the new empty servers. New opportunities, a clean slate, a fresh start.

Since Fantasia is mentioned in the Alchemist questline and was a big part of the 1.0 Alchemist storyline, it exists, but is extremely rare. Think of it more like the fountain of youth. It might exist but nobody has really made it yet, or if they have, they are not mass producing it.

They clearly showed the buildings that appear in each ward and subward. And they said it's 512 per building, not per city. Which means that it's NOT 1536, but over 36000 apartments per server (every ward and subward has the building which has 512 apartments). Basically, they are adding the equivalent of a ward to each housing district, and filling it with FC houses (FC houses have a limit of 512 rooms per house). So please, everyone stop panicking.

Hey everyone! :moogle: A Final Fantasy newbie here, only just started playing it 2 days ago. This is my first FF ever, so I apologize in advance if I mix terms up (as I already did last night in a conversation with some friends >.< ). I used to RP in Guild Wars 2, until a few months back, so at least I'm not new to that. But the game got a bit boring, and the RP community wasn't as it used to be (most notably the asura community), so I decided to check another MMO. A couple of friends have already been playing FF, so I decided to join them. :lol: Anyway, I'm on Balmung, my character's name is Lynna Greene and hopefully I will meet up with you all in game for some pleasant evening RP. :chocobo:
