Welp I've been having some WEIRD errors today, but hopefully before the apocalypse comes I'll actually get a character to show up properly as created and get in the game...right after I redo ALL my network settings to make sure it's not my end disconnecting things right when I push the button.

Thanks for the tips! I'll look up both those Linkshells, I think. Anything that gets me going on group content with less hassle is a win in my book! And having an OOC spot to congregate is always nice. Steel Wolf, you sound cool and you like fennecs almost as much as I do apparently, we should totes hang out. :3

HOWDY! I'm UltraFennec, as you can see by the handle up there I'm sure. I dillied and dallied around with FF14 back when it first released, and kept up for about...two, maybe three months after launch, playing intermittently, but the game was just so raw and frankly kinda bad at that point I left and didn't come back. BUT I beta tested ARR for a bit, and I'm finally able to jump into the game proper now and excited to make some friends and meet new people and generally get up to the RP hijinks that make the game interesting when I'm not focused on the 'game' part of the game. I'm not new to roleplaying of any sort, whether in PnP games or freeform or whatever, but it's been since...well, whenever I last played my Dancer in FF11 that I made a concerted effort for it in an MMO, so I'll seem rusty I'm sure. As for characters...I have a few hazy ideas so far and some wild names but other than that I'm just kinda blank-slate. What kinda communities we got goin' on here for someone laid-back and not uptight about nothin'?
