Sillice

Hello everyone! I play a character who was taken into the Empire's ranks (by force) at a young age and who has after 15 years of Garlean service, been captured by Gridania and then over the course of a year, been treated to remove the Empire's influence over her. Now free from the Empire's brainwashing, but with still lingering thoughts and memories towards the Empire (You dont get 15 years of training out of your head that easily) So, thats the basic backstory. What I am looking for is players who either play as guards or other officials in the Gridania ranks who might have had a hand in her capture and healing process (for check ups maybe?) or players who play on the Garlean side who might recognize her from the 15 years she was with the Empire and who might work on getting her back in the ranks or who just like to sit with a Garlean and talk about the good old days(?) or just players who might have heard some rumors (some are on my characters Wiki) and who might have a big problem with an Ex-garlean walking around. (I have no problem with hostility towards my character for her background Makes for nice RP sometimes ^^)

oocly, i'd love it. those kind of actions are adorable icly though. my character only opens her visor when eating or drinking. but.. if they happen to catch her at that time. She would without even checking who it was, uppercut them right under the jaw with her metal gauntlets best not to sneak up on nervous, paranoid people like that <.<

Hello there everyone! Ive played the game on and off for 2 years now. But mostly I have been playing with my ex-coworkers so it has been mostly casual dungeoneering antics. I have Rp'd a lot before (10+ years, NWN persistant RP world) and I want to give Rp a go in this game as well. I made a character on Balmung when the game first came out. Then changed servers to play with my coworkers. So I luckily had a Balmung character to log onto and Phantasia the hell out of her to make her suitable for RP I have set up a sheet in the player directory here, I have made a wiki page about her as well. Link found in the player Directory under "Sillice Dyneren" As for me personally, I am quite shy and nervous about meeting others. So its hard for me to get things started by myself. But I love RP of all kinds and always happy when I can be involved with things. My timezones can be a bit strange, as I moved to Japan. So I have the UTC+9 thing going on. but.. I play at nights only (7 hours a night) so, that puts me on.. USA times I think? usually server is packed full so that's a good sign ^^ Ok well, long story short. Basic Information ♠ Characters: Sillice Dyneren ♦ Linkshells: None ♣ Basic bio: Sillice is an Ex-frumentarii.(Garlean secret operatives) Captured while on a spy mission for the Garlean empire and then underwent a year of conditioning and recovery in an attempt to remove the Empire's brainwashing effects. It left her broken and confused, but determined to make up for her past and to set things right. RP Style ♠ Amount of RP: Heavy. I am pretty much 95% of my time IC. Unless I have to go through some content that is not matching my character (But I have to clear it to proceed in the storyline quests etc) ♥ Views on RP combat and injuries: I love RP combat. It creates such interesting battle scenarios sometimes! That being said, I do expect players to fight fair and not be all godmode and powerplay their way through fights. ♦ Views on IC romance: I really love this part of RP. But please be aware that this does take work and effort. Just like in RL, this will not happen within a single RP evening or such. It will take time, devotion and work. But like said before, when getting into this, I really enjoy this kind of RP. ♣ Views on non-romance RP: I like all kind of RP. Be it adventures, relaxing in a tavern, exploring, you name it. I pretty much enjoy having my character live out her daily life. with all it entails. ♠ Views on lore: I follow the lore as much as possible. It is the world we play in so we should act along with it accordingly. I don't mind people bending the lore a little bit once in a while but please don't go out of bounds too far. ♥ Views on chat functions: Pretty much the basics I guess. Anything readable in public is IC, unless its in OOC brackets. Linkshells I consider IC since NPCs use them as well to contact each other. But all other communication forms are purely OOC for me. Basic info Name: Masumi Yukisawa Age: 18 Sexuality: Undetermined Status: Single Height: 146 cm Occupation: Conjurer Personality and History Masumi is a very withdrawn and shy individual. While she is always kind and willing to help even at her own expense, she can be a challenge to get to know more closely. Part of this is because of her origins. Being born in the Raen clan, yet with a mixed appearance of that of the Xaela clans, she has always been treated as an outcast. Her family unknown to her, with only the knowledge that her mother was an Astrologist and left her a precious star globe as a farewell gift shortly after haven given birth to Masumi. Due to this, she has lived a very sheltered life-style is is very far behind in the actual dealings of the world. Just a few days before her coming of age, she was taken in her sleep by unknown individuals and she was removed from her homeland. She awoke in the far corners of the black shroud and barely made it to New Gridania. There she is now trying to build a new life for herself. Trying to become strong so that she might one day set out to become an Astrologist herself and perhaps find some trace of her parents. Connections She does not have any connections to anyone at this point. A stranger in a new land. But she is on the lookout for new friends. It may not be easy for her to create such a new bond, but she does yearn for it. Naturally, she will try to find a love interest as well over time and as time passes, perhaps make enemies as well. If anyone is in need of a background for their own character, or is simply looking for a simple villain background, you could be from her homeland and there to try and take her back or for other evil things. Hello there! I recently got back into the game after a lot of moving around oocly, but I play on Siren as well. At the moment with a lvl 30 male ninja Au ra (Zef'rin Dy'neren) and just started a new female lvl 1 conjurer Au ra (Masumi Yukisawa) Feel free to add either of them if anyone on Siren is up for some RP. No matter where you spot me, Ill always be IC except in Tells ^-^ In order to get something started, I always like to kick off with my characters having left a small notice on the message boards around towns (male left them in Limsa, female in Gridania) Mentioning they were new in the area and looking for fellow adventurers to seek out adventure together. The only times I am out of character is when I am talking in Tells or other chat channels (Say and linkshells are IC in my book) Views on RP combat and injuries: I love RP combat as it gives us a change to really make descriptive interesting fights instead of the usual click to kill game interface.
