Patch rush? Nah, I was going to stay for a while. I am no where caught up in the story in game to even make use of any new content that does come out. lol. I mostly love to RP over anything. Plus my connection used to be pretty crummy, hoping that's different now.

Hey there. I've been away for quite a while and want to return to FFXIV and jump right back into RP which is the main reason I love this MMORPG. I am from Balmung and was curious if the RP was still as strong and lively as it was a year or so ago. Anyways, I hope to be on sometime this weekend and meet up with some of you guys!

Yes, I prefer heavy RP. I am pretty much IC 98% of the time. I'll have to check out some linkshells soon. Overall, I'm really excited to be back, as I remember this being an awesome RP server when I left.

I'm not really new around here, been apart of Final Fantasy XIV off and on for the last year and a half. But now I'm ready to get back into full swing of RPing again and wanted to do a brief introduction here. I've been RPing since I was about 17 years old, will be 37 next month, so close to 20 years. I have Roleplayed in various MMOs, Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, etc. Also have done chat room RP and Dungeons and Dragons. I am really looking to expand my RP potential for my character here, Emma Reed. A little about her: She is a very cautious person, doesn't trust anyone easily. She does like social interactions, but will never admit it, not even to herself. Currently she just explores Eorzea to find odd jobs to pay for food and lodging for the night. She does find herself in the Quicksand fairly often, for two reasons; One, she does find the conversations there to be amusing. The second is a personal reason. Well, don't want to give away too much right now, so just a little about me and my character. Hope to see you guys in game

Thanks! Yeah and I love the last name too. I fell in love with it when watching a TV show a little while back. So when I randomized it on the character creation screen I'm like, YES that's his name! I'm such a dork.

Just wanted to come in here to quickly introduce myself. My character on Balmung is Erik Bishop, and I'm eager to Roleplay with you guys. A little about me. I am 36 years old, been playing MMOs since 2003 starting with Everquest. I've played numerous different once in the meantime. My favorite and the one that got me to RP fulltime in an MMO was Star Wars Galaxies. I've been a gamer since I was a toddler, grew up on Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior(Quest) and a lot of other console RPGs. Really isn't much for me to say. However I will say this, if you see me anywhere in game, feel free to RP with me. I'll more than likely be In character wherever I am, even if I'm crafting.
