The continued stuggle has not come without cost. Perhaps the worst of all has been the errosion of relationships between those who mus rely on eachother for survival. Although some of the Cliffperch residents seem to feel they are safe and can live life like normal people in the vast world of Eorzea, those that lurk in shadows have other plans. So far the branded have taken into account that they live in a house that needs upkeep. Without their previous leader, even the youngest of their humble group has been clamoring to keep their safe haven afloat and looking like a legitimate mercenary company. Despite their efforts, even the very things that keep Cliffperch a safe haven are starting to wane. This has not gone unnoticed to the enemies of the coven. Many of the branded have gone out to look for contracts for mercenary work, giving the little house overlooking the cliff a small amount of new interest. With this, recruitment will be opening again soon! :moogle:

My main alt, Khuja'sae Fashonti recently had a really horrible accident where he severely damaged his eye (it got horribly cut open by a dagger to the face and he was treated fairly quickly by a skilled physician). I've been doing a lot of research into eye injury and have deduced that the lasting damage after treatment is that the iris can no longer expand or contract and that the lense was messed up. After initial dead-eye look, the thing has healed so that one eye just never contracts in bright light, giving him a David Bowie look. The resulting eyesight in that eye is stupidly blurry and even a kinda dim room looks painfully bright on that side. Is that a logical interpretation? Also, this character used to be a sharpshooter with a bow. Obviously this injury messes with that skill. What are feasible weapon options that would work well with this injury? Honestly. I'm a ta loss. I've heard information both favoring close and long range. I'm leaning towards a lance as being forgiving, but, ICly, the kid always carries daggers. Any suggestions for Khu?

I'll hang out with you on Balmung. I don't exactly wanna start a new alt but I could help you get RP experience. If it wasn't for people helping me I don't think I would have had what it takes to get into an FC.

Hello all! I've introduced myself before when I was still a n00b but here goes again! As of now, I mostly keep to my Free Company, Aeon, but I love random RP and would like to branch out and meet some of you wonderful people so here it goes! My main character is Izanami Stormcaller. She is an Aether-heavy swordswoman Raen trained by Draco Nobis. She dreams heavily of being a knight and, in lieu of hoping someone gets around to knighting her, she has created her own group of knights to fight evils around Eorzea (which you can join, this IC adventure RP linkshell is just getting started). Izanami loves to prove herself and get herself in trouble but lately she has been working on becoming more capable (and would tell your character that she is completely competent). She is confident, hard headed but has her heart in the right place. My major alternate character is Khuja'sae Fashonti. He's a musician that would sing you a tale of how he is an innocent when he has a history of working with his family of Moon Keepers in the shroud. He's fairly young and short and has been accused of being a skirt chaser. He tries to distance himself from the deeds of his past by focusing on his new position as a musician at his new home in Ul'dah. If you see him walking around, feel free to say hi!

Hi! I'm relatively new to RP, although I did RP with a friend for a few months. Lately I'm looking to get more involved in playing with other people but I'm a little nervous. I create characters for comics and things but I know that RP is a bit of a different beast to tackle. Currently, I play a lv. 50 Black Mage. I'm still weeding through story quests but I'm on the tail end of them. I'm super up for suggestions when it comes to RP style and would love to join a linkshell if anyone would take me. My character's name is Ath'mara Reign, and she's a bit of a brooding, watchful person. She is obsessed with the occult and disciplines of magic. Although strength and power appeal very much to her so if Dark Knight or something like it is released, she'd totally be all over that. As for back story, I've been told that I tend to make my characters a bit on the special snowflake side, so if anyone feels like making suggestions, I'm up for it. I'm used to making characters for comics where there needs to be a bit of flair in order to make the story interesting. Haha... I guess I'm just nervous is all. Can anyone help me out?:chocobo:
