Update: I will most likely get this on a roll on sunday or sometime through the week and whomever would like to join can. I think I'll start the plotting with ICly actually forming the company and growing it as well, to the point where these nerds can build a church and begin their work i mean these don't just magically appear!
-
Yeah there's tons of FC's out there and lots of people would not want to leave theirs, so I'll have a separate LS for those who would like to take part but don't want to leave their FC Either it will be a full blown FC, or I'll do some saving up in game for a private house I'll form into a church/morgue that anyone in a LS can come in to for RP (though I think a FC would bea little more organised because i'm a butt ) I like the DRK idea, actually! We'll have some npc/pc reception and so forth as well! Right at this moment in time, this idea is only just budding in my characters mind and he's beginning the process of rounding others up to teach around Thal's Respite! If you'd like some in character interaction before the plot begins, let me know!

Lmao there will be death in the halls oh man that'd be hillarious like "i smell a k'ovu.'

Long story short I'm thinking of starting a RP fc around the Order of Nald'thal, where those in the FC are a small group of skilled or learning Thaumaturges who run a small morgue/funeral home. It would be a RP spot open to whomever, be a place to rest the dead and learn Thaumaturgy under Naoh'ra, the head mortician and company leader. I'm still putting together the details, any suggestions would be awesome! The main thing for the FC is RP, plot, and community. It would be very lore heavy, and story based. I will also be making a LS for the FC since we will be a small group. We can do in game stuff like dungeons and trials, as well as new content, but the main focus is RP and plot So yeah, any suggestions, questions or interest would be appreciated, thanks for reading. You can reply here, message me in game or privately message me on thus site. Thanks all

Hey everyone, I'm looking for RP partners once in a while for some casual plotting a d RP, a bit of info is my character is starting to teach Thaumaturgy and its roots in preserving the dead, as well as how it works and what it takes to use the craft to its full power. He'll be teaching in Eastern Thanalan and if you're interested we can set up an IC meeting and work out times we can get together for RP I'm Naoh'ra Ohndai in game on Balmung, you can catch me there or through this thread or private messaging.

The Lover's Warden (seeker and keeper event)
James Rhymes replied to James Rhymes's topic in Chronicled Events
I'm really happy that despite my mistake in messing up the times that this still turned out positive for most involved! Thanks so much for coming, and I hope to plan (properly this time!) more events in the future! I'm thinking my next event may be more in tune directly to Keeper's of the Moon. If you have any idea's for that, feel free to message me or even plan an event yourself and keep us posted! Here's a screenshot I got from the event: https://31.media.tumblr.com/808418c7c252f1a4d8119ed636e45651/tumblr_nfuhfm9YA61tefln4o1_1280.png[/img] -

I think the events will always be on the weekends, early morning to noon or so. Sorry for the mix up of timezones, but I am glad that we could make the best of it as it was! -

Most likely they'll be starting late, or, I could make it work around mid day/early morning depending on everyone's availability! -

I think the event was really fun and successful despite the bad time planning! I'll definitely be organizing more Keeper/Seeker events in the future (with proper time-zones) Some are still here RPing, so if you'd like to join, feel free! -

That's totally up to the individual characters, I would think. While they're totally welcome to the event, some may not be so welcoming. Others might see it as a chance for acceptance since the sun and moon are together so it's not a huge deal??? But yeah, mixed breed miqo'te are welcome to come as well, though how individual characters react is out of my control. -

Hello everyone and welcome to the festivities! Graciously hosted in the Drake's territory, we welcome everyone to witness the solar eclipse coming this Saturday to Eorzea! All those under Azeyma's warm embrace and Menphina's loving gaze are welcomed to attend! The evening/night will be filled with food brought from all tribes/clans! There will be music, story telling, games for children and adults alike! Come show off your strengths and talents, share stories of great things your families have done, and enjoy the show the Sisters will put on! Menphina and Azeyma come together once, let's all come together as well. Please keep in mind that peace is expected, but friendly competition is encouraged! For this one night, let it be a night of learning! It's not often we put aside differences, so let's try and make this positive as we can. We expect there to be squabbles and have taken the time to elect our strongest to keep fights from starting, and should physical fights start, you may be asked to leave. Starting in the evening we'll enjoy a great feast in our beloved Sisters names! Later, feel free to talk, tell your stories, preform and show off your talents, compete for best hunter and more! At midnight, there will be a large bonfire, dancing and drinks for those who'd like them provided by any who wish to provide. All food and drink is provided by the party-goers! Feel free to come and go as you please while the event takes place, and also, please respect the land we celebrate on and be sure to clean up any mess and thank the U for allowing us into their home! I hope to see you all there! ----- This event will take place on November 29th, at 10pm GMT. While it's hoped this will be a peaceful event, please don't feel obligated to censor your characters! If they're going to be an ass, let them! No matter how this event turns out, positive or negative for those characters involved, it will be a great event in my books! Please respect other RPers first and foremost. If you have idea's for activities during this event please feel free to post them here on this thread or just start them at the event! It's totally cool if all of a sudden you shout 'first one to hunt down X target wins Y reward!' or something like that! This event is organized by the players! Feel free to have fun with it, as this is only an outline to get us together! Have fun guys! I hope to see you there! (This event is open to all races, though particularly to miqo'te and those who are under Azeyma and Menphina. )

Oh there's another event that day? I can definitely work around it to either another day or where there isn't conflicting times, though most likely another day since it's easy to burn out RP wise, ya dig? -

Sure is! I'm working out the details now, and putting together a few last minute things. I think this is going to happen on the 22nd of this month! I'll know for sure and get to work on the event soon, just need to get my MRI and shit done so I can make sure that I will still have the time to plan, execute and participate in the event! If not, it will be pushed back either until someone else can take over, or until I'm out of the hospital and recovered. -
Oh I meant through a LS as a makeshift kind of IC guild, not an actual free company guild. It just wouldn't take off with the amount of other FC's on balmung and the like. I think I will make the LS, and possibly an event to find IC bards on balmung so we can all collab something together!
-
Well, I would not be opposed to creating my own LS/RP group that was around a Bardic type college deal, like one that was made specifically to bring the art back and teach those willing to learn. Either that or it'd be more like a club or sorts, like starting it out with a small group of individual's who want to learn, so they get together to create a place where they can despite how little resources they have. Y'dig? But yeah, I can definitely start a RP group/LS on Balmung specifically for Bards where they can teach, learn and get commissioned work. Hell if we create enough of a stirr with more bardic centric RP, SE might just catch on and start adding in things like emotes and shit for bards and maybe even a musical Limit break (would be cool just sayin') or an off hand weapon that was an instrument, while the main hand was a bow.
-
Side note I wish there were an emote to continuously play a harp just for RP reasons, it'd be really cool
-
You see, here? That's what we bards call, "bait". They know that a bard worth his salt and his instrument dare not pass up that challenge. 8-) I bet'cha I can make anyone seem interesting if worded right!
