That_NPC

This is actually the personal storyline I'm doing right now. If you have a group your RPing with, find out how they run their timeline. How long is a month ICly. Then decide how long it would take training wise for you to hit the proficiency you want, then figure out how many hours a week/day you'd spend training and there you go. Personally for me its Timeline (good question, but pretty slow) Hours to wanted proficiency: 200 Dedication: 5 hours per week. End result 40 weeks, almost a year, for the sake of ease, I'm rounding it up to a year. Now that you have this you can start sprinkling in some things in your RP. Rather than having your sword knocked from your hand with ease, you know how to keep your grip, doesn't mean you know how to fight, but its a start. You now know a few basic strikes, nothing difficult for anyone who's job it is to fight to avoid/block, but you're getting there. And so on and so forth. Remember though that everyone in your group is also getting better at fighting. So unless they are actually saying they aren't training, assume they grow at the same rate.

Looking at the LInkshell list saw plenty of Free companies for NPC's which would be great to dump alts in, but hoping someone out there has a Linkshell for NPCs. That way there can be communication while I'm on my main. I greatly enjoy playing NPC's and try to be fluid for other's RP, but I find the communication barrier being the largest. Balmung Server.

Personally, I like the idea of Fantasia existing ICly with how much magic there is in the world. That being said, to keep it novel the materials to make it would be epic questline worthy of getting. Likewise some sort of magical experiment can go wrong and change you, (You'd still use a fantasia OoCly of course). (Example for this would be Ultros). but it should be treated with the reverence it deserves. As for using it as a regrowth potion, if it can change your physical composition to anything you want, then sure, why not? But personally, here would be the kicker for me. Its as you remember yourself, not necessarily how you were. And it changes everything. So if you are incredibly muscular, but don't think so about yourself, then when you drink the potion it would cause all of your muscle to change, not just regrow the arm. Also for how much reverence the potion deserves. I personally doubt even the Alchemist Guildmaster can make one easily, even given the materials.

As a huge fan of the Dissidia series this sounds like so much fun, My PSP basically is a Dissidia machine, and thinking of Oswain going toe to toe with these guys... She'd lose, every day of the week, but this will be fun none the less. Oswain Gerralt here, not new to FF but definitely new to the forums (or any forum in general really >.>) Main character is.... well Oswain, Member of the Order of Ravenstar on Balmung, and you've probable seen me crafting something or other. Small character summary, Private in the flames who's own personality is holding her back from being promoted (although she doesn't realize it), decent enough fighter, and a well above average crafter (just a knack for working with things) although she wants to be a high ranking flames officer and actually go out and fight the threats of Ul'dah, she's just not ready for it. OoCly, I enjoy playing NPC's so if you're in need of one let me know. Going to try to get more active in the overall community.
