The Elemental Conclave Teaching individuals about the need for balance, without it being influenced by Padjal teachings and their inability to leave their station unless it is in response to a great need. An understanding that elementals live everywhere in everything, but that while their greatest concentration lies within the Twelveswood of Aldenard, their presence can be felt elsewhere. Come and give your own experiences with communing with the forces unseen to most eyes, or come and learn how to commune with the natural forces of the world in a way that will benefit the Great Ones in all places, not just the Black Shroud. These men and women, headed by conjurers not taught by the Gridanians, have been brought together with a unified goal of both learning about and understanding the elementals of Hydaelyn, in a way which will benefit them, as well as the Spoken Races that live elsewhere, outside of the Black Shroud while understanding their greatest (though now greatly weakened) influence can still be felt amongst the ancient boughs of Aldenard. An understanding that to maintain balance, there is sometimes a need to destroy as well as heal. Who am I? "I am known as Vahsrin'a of Saialdhe. Balance must be maintained, or Oha-Sok will deliver her vengeance once again and this time, we will not get a second chance." - Vahsrin'a Saialdhe OOC Below This is something of a lovechild of mine that I have been on the fence about creating because of the relatively niche RP it fills. However, I have finally decided to put my full effort into the creation of a functioning free company as well as potentially teaching people about certain aspects of the game's lore that they may not be too sure on. The free company itself will be fully dedicated to roleplay and most of the events will be co-written by an old friend of mine from 1.0 who has years upon years of story-writing experience and I, to provide hopefully a meaningful and well-thought out plotline for individuals to follow within the confines of lore. This is very much in the making, it will have a medium house located in the Goblet with IC reasons attached to it why it is there. Any feedback you guys can give would be absolutely fantastic. And if the concept is enough to tempt your interest, why not add my discord at Vahsrin'a#7148. This is still very much a WIP as I said above and I hope, in general, it will become something successful and be able to build bridges with other FCs and linkshells to write together to achieve something memorable. The free company will be open to all types of individuals, from conjurers themselves to individuals who may not have any talents in conjury, but would be able to become a valued asset for the group in their wish to maintain balance.

A picture would be nailed onto a board within the Quicksand. It would be a poster with a rather well-drawn picture of a shirtless Roegadyn staring down at you. Under it would read. "Evenin'. Err, Roegadyn, for ye's not that bloody informed, I'll be gaugin' ye' on how ye' look and present yerself. Ye'll be havin' votes, too, I reckon from those wantin' to watch and the winner will be crowned Mr Eorzea 'n' handed three-hundred thousan' gil. OH! And less I ferget, nay damned Mandervilles. After each contestant has had their outfits evaluated, first ye'll be wearin' yer usual stuff then yer swimsuits, each contestant will be asked ta' give a speech to the crowd on why they'd be a perfect Mr Eorzea." OOC Details Huzzah, my first post and I thought I'd kick it off with a bang. I present to you this idea I've had for many months now, but have never had the chance to really bring it to life. But that is changing. Hopefully this will garner some interest, but I will be looking to host a fun event for everyone, hopefully enjoyable for everyone on Balmung if they decide to come! I will be looking to host a Pageant-esque style event that will be focusing on our under appreciated E-muscles and sculpted bodies. It will be known as Mr Eorzea. This will be a contest decided by you, the roleplayer primarily. However, the majority of people will be undergoing the jurisdiction of me and any judges that wish to take part. Obviously, this event's contestants will only be men but all races are more than welcome to come take part. I will be looking for some players to sign up as judges and I would appreciate if anyone willing to help me out with this, put your names below and I'll get to you in-game about this event! I will be looking to start this on the 4th of April, 19:00 EST (12AM GMT) and I hope people will be more than happy to come and watch and have fun! If you'd like to add anything onto this event, catering and the likes, by all means come give me a shout on this thread!
