Double post woops

As of now we are officially closing the 7th Haven tavern until further notice. We are more than likely to re-open after the release of Stormblood, and we apologize to anyone who might have arrived in the past few weeks to find a lack of RP staff. We hope to see our regulars and newcomers alike once we re-open. Until then, folks!

Feels odd not writing that in a Grindr account... Anyways, hey! Been out of the RP world for the most part over the past year, and what little I've done was done toward reshaping Ardi's personality and character a bit to someone who isn't so far removed from myself. Once a hot mess, he's more grounded and mature, and has grown quite a bit since anyone seen him last during his days in Harbingers. Once a foul mouthed, thick headed, alcoholic, confrontational and overall antagonistic highlander, his year in Eld has granted him a better perspective, and now spends his days meditating, training, working with animals, reading, writing, laboring, and trading. Now he's just... foul mouthed. With a lot of pve and game content finished, along with my character profile nearly done, I'm looking to branch out into more RP outside of the self contained sessions within my own FC. I'd really like to get involved in some roll based adventures, or just adventures in general. Also into your standard RP formats; taverns, one on one, group association, etc. Given the ending of the MSQ a lot of my character's focus would, understandably, be toward Little Ala Mhigo and the resistance, so any affiliations would be welcome (I am involved in the LS as is, so no worries there!) In short, I've been out of the RP community for a while now and looking to get back in. Friends, acquaintances, enemies, I accept all options with open arms! Reply, give me a shout in game or shoot me a PM!

I'm always on the lookout for fellow highlander buddies. Ardi could use a training/ sparring partner, and his FC's inn is hiring bartenders/ waiters for the tavern. PM or give me a shout in game!

The and 7th Haven proudly present: A Midgardsormr Knight's Dream When: Saturday Feb. 13th at 9PM CST-Until Late Where: Halls of Eld/7th Haven Tavern- Lavender Beds: Ward 7, Plot 5 (Lavender East aetheryte) Come join the grand opening of the 7th Haven tavern at our very first public poetry and tavern night! The stage is set and ready to go, all we need is YOU. Express your creative side by sharing an ale and sharing a tale with a few good friends- and maybe make some new ones while you're at it. Oh yeah, and our newly created Menu isn't bad, either. This event, and tavern, were created for the sole purpose of promoting art and creativity, so admission is *always free*. (Though tips are always appreciated) Stay for a bell or stay for three, we'll go until everyone leaves. (Or until a reasonable time for the staff, at least.) We're excited to see you there! This is an "Open-Mic" style poetry night. Any creative, personal writing is welcome, whether poetry, songs or short stories. All are welcome to take the stage any time there's an opening. I went with something that would at least somewhat make my character as unaware of the world state as I am (being new and all). I chose Hyur. Highlander because it best resembles me physically over Midlander. A few weeks later I met Sin via this board who really helped me flesh out what I like to think is a pretty badass backstory. Ala Mhigan loses his home when he's just a kid, becomes a refugee. Stops an altercation between his father and a man he owed money to, goes overboard and kills said man (whose money was aligned with Syndicate), ends up a prisoner/ asset in the pits for 15 years. From Ala Mhigan to refugee to prisoner; just feels more sensible when I RP and people bring up stuff I haven't heard of OOC (like famous RP events, summer faire, etc) and so have to incorporate that ignorance IC.

I haven't even started mine yet but have been meaning to all week. I've been reading a lot of others from you guys though and it's keeping me pretty motivated. I'll definitely be one to fall behind in keeping Ardam's Wiki updated.
