1. Vicette Chevaliaux Gentle * Empathic * Proper Hello~ Some of you may have noticed Vi milling about Ul'dah recently, and it just now occurred to me that I have no search thread set up for her! So here we are. For those of you who would like to read a bit about her, you can pop into her wiki. Who she is Vicette is an Ishgardian Noble She is incognito as a traveler and very close-lipped about her origin She is 26 years old Currently found in the Ossuary, or in or around the Quicksand She knows how to use a bow, but is non-combatant Vi is an innocent What I'm looking for Friends. Romance. Family. I intend this character to be heavy rp with a focus on her personal life. For those whom it may interest, she has two elder brothers and an elder sister. Please note that any foray into this territory will have to entail an Ishgardian character. Knight: This role requires an intimate relationship that spans back to childhood, and can be left up to whether or not it skews romantic or platonic. Should this role be inquired about it would have to be a male Elezen. Friends are something precious and adored, if timidly gained. With a natural penchant for thinking the best of everyone, it's easy to acclimate any walk of life to her. Which may lead to some taking advantage of that kindness? Scholars will find the best purchase with her, if you need someone to bounce ideas off of or are excited about your research. Mention it and she won't allow you to go for hours. Those who tell stories are also big hits. Whether they're stories about your life, for the sake of the story, or even the history of your race/clan/group you came from she's quick to listen and even quicker to be genuinely interested. A bit about me I am a multi-paragraph rper Most of my time online is in the evenings and the weekends I play on EST
2. Updated the thread to reflect a better grasp on the character.
3. I've been debating this for a few days, because I don't know if I'm the last to be aware or not. Right up until I figured that there were other people who are new like me. Did you know that you can transfer multiple characters at one time for the same $18 payment? I learned this transferring my latest batch of characters. As long as they're all on the same server {and just to note, I only transferred 3} instead of charging $54 Mog Station only charged $18.
4. Sounds like fun~ The best stories always start with a little bit of alcohol and some friendly drunks. The more the merrier, right? Throw in a smidgen of discomfort and odd facts and we have ourselves a party.
5. Ryosen Kisaragi A pleasure to meet you all, my name is Ryosen. Together with my sister Yomi I have migrated from our home on the coast to this wonderful city of Ul'dah. Our time here has been pleasurable, and yet I find myself quite out of sorts and wanting for company. And so I come to you, wishing to meet and count many of you amongst my friends and acquaintances. If you so wish, I'd be most pleased to meet. You need only find me, or send me a letter, and I will do my utmost to make your acquaintance. OOC Notes Getting to play Ryo and learning his personality has given to mind a better concept of his character. He's still the upbeat flirt that he's always been, however there is a darker side that can be explored should one so dare. A few avenues you could explore are listed below. Drinking Buddies: Extremely personable, one only has to approach or invite him to join them, or he might appear all on his own. He's a happy drunk, and is as free with his gil as the next person. Scholars: New knowledge is always fun, and Ryo has a wide range of books. Anyone looking for specific volumes need only inquire, and he and his sister would be mildly well-known in the libraries. Collectors: Anything that looks of value goes into his pocket, and if you want something acquired he can find the channels necessary to get it to you. The downtrodden: Not a horribly well-known quirk, but Ryo has a habit of giving small but valuable things like materia to those who are in trouble. At the same time, he'll pay for any interesting bits of information they might have for him. Criminal Element: Something he doesn't let on is that he will not hesitate to torture for information. This makes him useful to the shadier side of life, and he, in turn, has no qualms about taking their gil.
6. Absolutely! I'll see about getting in contact with both of you maybe later today. My hope is that he gets along well with most everyone. The more people around him the more likely the chance he'll stumble into something he shouldn't =w=
7. Sounds good :3 Yeren would definitely need a healer to take care of all the bumps and scrapes he'd inevitably get from good-natured {and probably some ill-natured} brawls. He'd probably also appreciate someone to teach him... civilized customs. Because he has none himself.
8. Who I am Hello~ I am Cabriole, or Cabby for short. I'm a medium to heavy rper, and use EST. I have an irregular job, so sometimes I'll only be on early morning and late night, or regular times that normal people get off. I check this site pretty regularly, so I can be reached here, or definitely in game. I also have a skype account, just ask if you want it~ A little about Yerentai Yeren comes from the Iriq tribe, and he's fresh off the boat, so to speak. Only in the city a few months, he tends to keep to himself when in the main thoroughfare. He's a warrior, and has a sense of honor that he just can't seem to part with. Tending to treat everyone the same, he's grown himself a small batch of friends. But every good merc needs more, and every individual deserves a little drama. What I'm looking for The whole nine yards. Friends, complications, work, an FC, and everything in between. Do you have a job that needs a stoic, intimidating Xaela? Or need to add another person to your drinking circle? I want to immerse him in so much that his head spins. If you think you can use him, I wanna know! Open to every kind of plot.
9. Hello~ I have three Miqo'te siblings that need some connections. Two won't be available for in-game perusal until transfers open {or I get lucky enough to land on Balmung without a transfer}, and one is currently running around Gilgamesh unsupervised. Balmung U'daia is the eldest and probably the most level headed. She tends to be curious and extremely loyal, and is very much chaotic good. She's an archer and a blacksmith. Anyone could probably approach this girl for any reason. She likes to help people, and she's quick to make friends. If you need her for something she'll be there. U'rahv will either be a pugilist or a lancer {haven't decided} and a fisherman {haha~}. He is U'daia's younger twin and the one more likely to get bullied into doing what the girls want to do. A little stand-offish, but protective of his two sisters. He's on the fence between lawful and chaotic good. His best counterpart would be someone who teases mercilessly, but he'll be harder to approach since he takes the loner thing pretty seriously. Gilgamesh U'vasuh is active on Gilgamesh right now, and that's probably where she'll say. She's inquisitive and endlessly curious about everything, as well as hopelessly naive. She's a pugilist and currently looking for a FC to call home. This one needs a strong guiding hand, or maybe some friends to fall into trouble with. If you have any ideas or want to plot something out just let me know! I'm open to a lot of things.
10. Quick Stats Name: U'vasuh Suhr Age: 19 Sexuality: Heterosexual Status: Unattached Height: 63'' Weight: 108 Occupation: Pugilist Family: U'rahv Tia {brother}, U'daia Suhr {Sister} Personality This one is the baby of her tight-knit family unit, and she knows it. Playful, mischievous, and always getting into trouble. U'vasuh is inquisitive to a fault, and won't hesitate to stick her nose into something it doesn't belong just to sate her curiosity. If there's something you don't want her to find, you better hide it well, because it's only a matter of time before she'll stumble across it. Now, that isn't to say that she's nosy enough to break into someone's belongings, but if it's in a common area and fair game, she's all over it. Another unfortunate side of her rather childish personality is how gullible she is. U'daia and U'rahv have pulled her out of more than one situation where she got caught up with shady people because they told her a sob story. Or protected her from a creepy stalker because he dropped a few lies to get her to follow him. Neither of her siblings understand how she can be taken in by so many different people, or why she hasn't learned how to recognize them yet, but that naivete seems completely ingrained into who she is. It makes those she counts as friends all the more precious, and those who are enemies all the more dangerous. It also leaves her open to getting caught up by a cult or two, though considering how artlessly she tends to run her mouth off, those who value secrecy should stay far away from this one. Relationships Oblivious to anything and anyone that might come onto her. While at the proper age for a relationship, someone looking for more than just friendship is going to have to work very, very hard in order to get past her oblivious nature. Friends she makes easily enough, and once considered her friend she'll fight for you as hard as she can. No friends quite yet. Random quirks Cannot hold her liquor. Even a few sips of mead is enough to get her stone drunk Has no sense of direction. Don't ever give her a map, because she can't read it. Tends to climb. She followed U'daia everywhere as a child, so her tendency for high places stems from that. Has no tact. Don't ever hope she'll put something delicately. Carries a blue glass marble. You'll see her playing with it sometimes. Misc U'vasuh is a brand new character on Gilgamesh. If you think you'd have fun with her, don't hesitate to drop a line~
11. Quick Stats Name: U'daia Suhr Age: 23 Sexuality: Heterosexual Status: Unattached Height: 63.5'' Weight: 115 Occupation: Archer/Blacksmith Family: U'rahv Tia {brother}, U'vasuh Suhr {Sister} Personality If ever in your life you needed to rely on someone, U'daia would be that person you called. To those who know her intimately, or those who have crossed her path once, she can be considered one of the 'good guys'. Cheery on the best of days, but hardly feminine, Dai behaves like one of the boys. Those in her circle have long since known never to test her patience over treating her delicately, if only because she's launched an arrow at their rump or challenged them to a drinking match and found themselves passed out under the table. These incidents, however, are few and far between, and most would call the Miqo'te a loyal companion. That is not to say, however, that this one is a social butterfly. Social more than her fellows, perhaps, but by nature the woman finds herself left unbothered more often than not. U'daia enjoys being left alone for hours to work on new weapons designs or simply smelt in her forge, or tend the garden she's so painstakingly built along the side of her modest little home. Oftentimes she's so focused on the task at hand that it takes a hand in her face to snap out of it. At these times the playfulness melts away, and a seriousness invades her jade gaze that belies the pride she takes in her work. She'd never say that her creations were the best or the most flashy, but the weapons and armor forged by her hand are at least sturdy and reliable. Her focus tends more towards indestructibility than flash, and rarely can she be tempted into stenciling a useless design along the dull edge of a blade. Such things are better left to the loud boasters down the way. Family, oddly enough, is something incredibly precious to this woman. Of all the people in her tribe that she left behind, two followed along and remained close. One was her twin brother, the other a little sister. U'daia is exceedingly protective over both, and though she may argue and hiss at them from time to time, there is no one she'd be faster at rescuing. Very little instills fear into this rough and tumble young woman more than the thought of losing what precious little family she has, and those that threaten that tight core of people often find themselves on the receiving end of the cat's claws. Getting down to it, it's important to note that not all of her personality is straightforward and pleasant. The redhead's got a quick temper and even quicker tongue, and when provoked into a rage she has a tendency to destroy anything close by, usually by throwing it at the offender. Grudges are quick to form and slow to go away, and when she doesn't get her way she's prone to pouting over it. Alcohol thrown into this combustible mix is never a good idea, though people tend to do it anyway to see what'll come out. When drunk, she turns into a wildcard that is hard to predict. Relationships Never one to give much thought on it, U'daia allows things around her to happen naturally. Those looking for a quick conquer are sorely disappointed, for it takes a delicate hand and an earnest nature to actually turn her head. She puts more stock in people as a whole than whether or not they'd be good relationship material. Friends are worth their weight in gold. No friends quite yet. Random quirks Tends to balk at anything that wiggles or is slimy. Bugs are a big no. Only drinks hard liquor. She doesn't bother with mead or wine at all. Has a tendency to get lost. She'll never admit it though. Likes to climb. Especially when she realizes she has no idea where she is. It's easier to see your destination high up. Carries a bag of glass gems. They're pretty baubles, but useless, and most of them are just glass chunks. There's a story behind them.
12. Should be plenty of time to level and get used to the game Thanks for all the warm welcomes ^^ I decided on a pair of Miqo'te siblings. Planning on posting a prompt in the forums in order to feel out their personalities.
13. Huu, I'm having a lot of fun so far. The starting cities they put you in must be huge x.x So easy to get lost! Both servers are full up so I started on Faerie until I can transfer over. Gives me enough time to learn the game.
14. Haa. I'll just have to see if I can wiggle through at some point. For now maybe I'll start on Gilgamesh and see where I end up. Ah... I've spanned a number of games and have been roleplaying for... twelve years? From the time I was thirteen, though in those days I can't imagine anyone was happy to rp with me x.x My first actual Rping on an MMO was, of course, Wow, and from there I traveled through Aion, SWTOR, Archeage, Fiesta, TERA, ESO, and a number of other games I'm probably forgetting about. I like to try anything interesting at least once.
15. Hello~ My name is Claret I am a... relatively new person to the FF world. A few friends have been trying to get me to play for awhile and I finally decided to check it out. Umm... I'm not really sure what else to say here :< I hope to find a server I can connect with my fellow rpers on~
