CHis name is Aymon Wollhundsyn, and he is here to drink and touch butts!... Wait that would be a reason to avoid him wouldn't it? Jokes aside, as I make my debut on my first character I would like to build up a few good connections so I have a fall back for when walk up RPs aren't happening! A bit on Aymon: He is a half breed (Half Midlander Hume, half Seawolf Roe) that makes his living as a woodcarver and a mercenary. He is often found at various Taverns enjoying drink, gambling, being a loud (sometimes hilarious) smartass and sometimes a complete idiot (in good fun of course). He enjoys randomly brawling for the sake of just brawling, and usually ends said brawls by getting drunk with his opponent. He's a mix between a teddy bear and just a very thick headed fighter. Most times he will do things just to enjoy life and the company of those arround him, other times he'll act in pure impulse which usually means throwing chairs or slapping bottoms without asking first (He wears those slap prints happily.) For Free Companies, anythign could work unless you're expecting him to be a very rule abiding military type. He tends to do things his way and only listens to the gist of what they need him to do. He doesn't like Uniforms, he doesn't usually say sir or ma'am. He's a great asset for a team so long as they can handle his unconditioned and rather loose cannon ways. NEW: Anyone who was a former bandit in Uldah NEW: Anyone who was a merchant in the last 8 years of Uldah that travelled between the settlements (not the capitals but all of the areas in the desert) Embarrassing requests: I am too embarassed to type these publicly, but I will say these all involve some more risqué stuff or things most people would need to discuss beforehand for comforts sake so if you want to know these just PM me and ask about them. Imma die of embarassment now! Free Company: as said above, I am open to pretty much any FC if you feel he would fit in, however he is far from military trained and will be a major problem for anyone trying to get him to wear a uniform (he will wear the seal or something small but an entire outfit? Good luck.) and more often then not will screw up his appointed task in beautiful ways if it's not directly him punching something or repairing wood related surfaces. @ Swygynwyzn : Maybe not a thief, but definitely an outlaw of sorts. Just unsure what form of illness I want for him. Something that will effect plot of course. @ Diskwrite : The issue with that is I know very little about the region and such to actually put down something that isn't half-assed garbage. I don't really know what regions would be suitable about pulling that off, or Highlander ideologies etc. [align=left]@Virella : Mine is actually in his early 30s. For now I've just made his skin as light as I can and tried to copy the facial look of a Roe to his own. Naming him is the hard part since a Crossbreed name... I wouldn't know if I should do the Hume name style or the Roe namestyle... Maybe a mix of both? As for the medicine, I was thinking thats why he is a mercenary, to afford the medicine he needs and a living wage. I'm still unsure what diesease I'm going for. I'm thinking something like an inborne illness that makes him cough blood and get severely weak when he is over-excerted and doesn't take his medicine. For the history, I'm thinking that when he was a bandit he always wore a very identifying garb and mask so when he took it off... People weren't as able to tell it was him. Something I'm still brainstorming. I don't know a thing about pre-calamity to post-calamity :'D [align=left]@Hammersmith : Of what I didn't already answer above, I think his love of random fighting will come from a mix of his previous lifestyle where he did have to fight to get by, as well as a way to feel like his illness doesn't define what he is capable of. For my first proper RP character I have a Highlander Pugulist... Who's story is currently non-existent save for a few scraps of ideas. Otherwise, I have this: Frequents Taverns Mercenary Likes fights for fun, not so much to kill. Usually drinks with people he fights with. Smart-assed, constantly popping jokes. Comedic Relief Perv, doesn't think before he speaks or acts at times. The things I am thinking about doing are: Half-Roe Maybe? I know this is sceptical by most. Wanted bandit who tossed his identity away to live a normal life? A unique illness that hasn't been permenantly cured, only treated by medicine? Thats about all I have for now. Thoughts? Ideas?

...And is incredibly new to RPing at all. Well, more so, in games. I've did Forums and such for years but never RP'd in games. Even more so, I don't know a whole lot about FF's lore and such so expect my first character to be weird. Im told I'm a really open minded roleplayer. I'm open to a lot of crap (Character harm, romance plots, merging plots, permanent injury, and some other stuff Imma just blush about...) and tend to be fairly open to people coming to me and saying they wanna do stuff. I tend to make... Well actually I've never had two similar characters so I have no set style, though I apparently make all of my characters Shippy and usually have some Sad bs about them so apologies in the future :'D So for now!... I have no idea what I'll be doing yet, I have a Hume in mind but not sure what will be done with him, especially since I hear Humes are the less loved of the races I guess right now I just hope to find some people to RP with...
