Hello Ely! And yup yup! At least OOC-wise. Too uncreative to pick an actual cool pseudonym. Lol. But pffft. Thank you so much for that, I worried that I scared people off with my embarrassing rambles. But sure, I would love to roleplay with you when your characters get fleshed out enough. [align=justify] [/align] Hey everyone! It is Madi, again! And since I got done with the rough bios of my characters I decided to finally advertise myself out to all of you lovely roleplayers. Um I don't really have any specifics on what I want, though. Just think of me as a person that's open to everything, as like I said in my introduction thread, FFXIV/MMO roleplaying is insanely new to me. So, if you do not mind a partially inexperienced person to write with you, I am more than willing to participate in anything you offer up. Brief explanations of the characters I will put my character histories in the bottom, but basically I only have three characters. Ninii Nii, is my main character. She is a eighteen year old Au Ra refugee, that is currently faking amnesia so she can create a new identity and forgot her life as a Raen, as she was taken up by a Lalafell family. Ninii isn't even her real name, to be honest. Currently she resides in Limsa Lominsa doing odd jobs, attempting her best to play that helpless amnesiac part. She is a grump, and in 'anime' terms a "Tsundere" that tries her best to act tough even though in reality she is a total crybaby. My other two side characters, are Aya Young and Maesey Mae. Aya Young is a thirty-four year old Wildwood Elezen that was raised in the forests by a very conservative clan. She falls in love, and even marries a Hyur that ends up corrupting her; turning the duo into masked criminals called the "Midnight Raiders." But Karma hits her back from leaving her family and escaping to this infamous title as her Husband unintentionally raids Aya's very own clan, ending up injuring Aya's younger sister. This ofc ends up making Aya leave, taking their child with her to Ul'Dah; hoping that now living without a mask she can function as a normal Mother, without any repercussions. But she still trains just in case her star-crossed lover meets again. As for twenty-two year old Maesey Mae, she is a happy-go-lucky Lalafell that was dropped in the streets when she was a child. She learns to take care of herself, and becomes sort of the "Aladdin" of Ul'Dah, stealing from merchants and being the "trickster" of the city. But once Calamity hits, she becomes more serious yearning to be something bigger than she was, although she still enjoys flirting with women and men alike, having a few drinks or two. I. Basic Info Characters: Ninii Nii, Maesey Mae, + Aya Young. Primary character: Ninii Nii Linkshells: N/A (for now) Primary RP linkshell: N/A (for now) II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I do a collection of all three of them, really. Depends on the mood and who i'm writing with! I tend to think of myself as a chameleon. When I roleplay with people usually I will just alter into their own preference, which I don't mind at all. I am fine with writing one-liners, but am also capable of doing paragraphs; to even over 1000 words (however it may be different in a MMO enviroment, ofc). When it comes to my opinion on FFXIV with roleplaying, I like to think i'm medium perhaps in my perspective. I would love to have in-character sessions most of the time, but OOC conversations are wonderful as well, and I want to make sure I am comfortable with the people I am roleplaying with. Views on RP combat and injuries: Um, it's alright. I guess? I am not into purely writing combats, though. I'm very moreso into the influence combats can have, and the development my character receives from it. Injuries are fine though, I am a masochist that needs to see my characters in unfavorable situations. Haha. Death though... Well, that is a possibility, I don't want to roleplay happy-go-lucky times 24/7 but I really don't enjoy the idea of characters I am just beginning to end in a snap. Views on IC romance: Totally up for it. Being Demisexual myself would moreover lead to my characters aiming close to the grey spectrum, but I am still very much open to the idea of relationships + affection for my babies. After all, it's no adventure if you go alone. Just please don't force any of it on my children if they do not feel compatible. Yes, I 100% approve of persistent men and women annoying my precious dragon child, but don't do anything more serious than that. OOC and IC, unless you ask beforehand. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Good. I need friends, I need non-blood brothers and sisters, I need enemies and everything in between. That is the point of roleplay isn't it? Development with other characters. I don't think I need to say any more than that. Views on lore: I enjoy the FF Lore, but I am no fanatic. Yes, i've been chasing chocobos since I was young, but I will not lie and say i'm 100% knowledgeable of its story. I study enough to not make me look too silly in roleplaying, but I don't know all of the specifics. Open to resources and information by other people though. Actually, i'm just new to the FFXIV scene in general, really! Just moved from Cactuar to Balmung. I played quite some time when the closed beta came out, but after it was finally released I took a long break so i'm really behind with everything that is going on. But I am coming back strong hopefully with my ambition to rp! [align=justify]Um, experience-wise mmorpgs and roleplaying are not new to me but the mixture of it is, very much so. The only experience I really have is CH's server in TERA and even then it wasn't that much! And when it comes to MMOs i've only really done WoW and TERA. But! I really do love writing and creating characters though. I have written for a very long time of things like OCs and canon characters from shows, but basing my character off a MMO design is brand new to me, so i'm extremely jubilant over it. [/align] Personal wise, I am a nineteen year old filipino that loves video games pretty much, yeah! My English is very fluent but due to just the influence at home I may sometimes mess up! I live in Kentucky and it is very boring here haha, but I am glad I have things like FF and my computer to keep me sane.
