And as far as Adarkim and Avagnar go it's both actually official lore so I saw no need to put that in though I maybe should change that, I wouldn't have bothered with Au Ra tribe names either if I hadn't made one myself.

Ohai, I am looking for all kind of people to roleplay and have fun with. As I am still transiting from forum to mmo/chat-roleplay I don't really have a firmer idea of what I really want. I don't intend to do anything too much in regards to character progression or plot yet but I don't mind taking part in other peoples plot! Also I don't do ERP/Smut/Libertine or whatever it is called around here. What I love however is dice-stuff and I am definitely not afraid of more complex stuff either! Well, I told myself if I ever gonna RP in FF14 my (first) character is, no matter what, going to hate Lalas xP! Of course, I thought up a totally 100% legit reason for that too! As far as the 'lamp post' goes it simply has to do with the Cane of Heaven's, which is the Thordan Extreme WHM weapon that, well, looks like a lamp post. At least a small one! I really wanted to take the lamp post into IC too, that's pretty much the second bias. Now that it is 'Lalafell'-sized(Since it's a small lamp post) has nothing to do with my first bias thou! Now that christmas has passed(And I hope you all had a wonderful one!) I made a few more changes. I also realized I should clarify more about what kind of feedback I am looking for I suppose. I don't want any feedback on the design unless it has to do with readability(Black text on a black background, duh...) as that is something I will do properly once I feel like doing it. I appreciate nearly any other kind of feedback though, especially when it comes to grammar lessons. For example a kind soul told me about that FF14 uses its own system for weight, height and so on, so I should still get to change that on my page. While it may sound insane for that kind of hobby, I am not a fan of writing super long texts, I try to keep it brief, to the point and avoid redundancy... with the exception of the currently mostly empty Journal I guess. I don't want my WikiProfile to replace the 'opportunity' to roleplay with my character IC(I am all for open world roleplay). I hope that made it a bit clearer what kind of direction I wanna go with said profile. My main issues I see myself facing right now are following: For one I am not sure if I should expand on her personality, I don't mean making my character deeper, as Lise belongs to an archetype I played quite extensively over the past year without getting boring, but the information I present to the reader. What I have currently is pretty much the first opinion one would get from her for the majority of the time unless they take a certain approach/talk about certain things. This sorta includes the like/dislike-list, I am thinking of just scrapping it and put it in text-form, because having both is, well, redundant? That way I could also explain about her love-hate relationship with sweets, make her obsession with (nice) hats clearer or why she hates Lalas and so on...but maybe that's too much by then? Another is her expertise, while I am indeed, an anime liking person who is used to 20 year olds being master in their art, I have long grown out of my "200 year old edgy betrayed demon QQLoveMe pseudo mary sue"-phase that everybody may or may have not been in and also know FF14 is not anime. What impression are you getting about how 'skillful' she is? Is it clear that, despite her 'taking on any job' she, well, sucks? Another big problem I have is with the Avagnar Clan, without any information available, I can only make up stuff myself, but at the same time I don't want to go too much against anything established, is there a community-driven lore creation thing or something going on for stuff like that? Personally I'd imagine that the Avagnar clan is living under the Adarkim and there are single families that more or less know each other to an extent(secret signs and so on?) while learning two different 'sets of culture'. Since it is explicitly stated revealing their name means death I also simply assume those who use the name on Othard are hunted to the ends of the continent (and further) instead of just leaving them alone somewhere. But I drifted a bit off-topic I suppose. Did you find her monologue on top of the wikipage funny? While I can't offer you any kind of RP Linkshell or FC, as I am in none myself (yet), I'd suppose it would be fun roleplaying with you! Much like Izanami, Liselotte(Not her birth name) arrived also only in Eorzea recently, mainly because so I can get away with not knowing too much about the lore . Not to mention I'm also super shy about approaching people! Then again that might be such a good idea, while I don't have a WikiProfile yet Lise is a rather silly character, which would make a nice mix with her refined behaviour if they hit it off right, or at least that's what I think based off experiences I made so far. That, however, doesn't mean she is a comedic relief character or something, as I well intend to use her for serious plot stuff and I would actually love if her carefree and positive character would break (a bit) under the edgy pressure of, well, depressing stuff? Not to mention she would suit the role of being protected as she would love diving into danger while playing the threat of injury (and death) down!

Well, according to Yssen pureblood Garleans are scrubs can't use magic! Heh, I'd imagine Magitek allows for some awesome, interesting and weird shenanigans. It feels kinda weird to write in the ways you described, not to mention I have to get more into my character to put replies up quickly, buut practices makes perfect I suppose.

Ohai, So I'm in a little dilemma currently. While I do Forum roleplay since a few years in english (and even longer in my native language) I am completely new to mmo roleplaying, and funnily enough I'd never thought I would give it a try if I had asked myself just a month back. Currently, I see myself facing with a few problems: My imagination being hampered by game graphics, roleplay-style (Forum writing I average around 3 paragraphs minimum... which takes like 30-60 minutes for a reply), grammar(No text-editor to run my stuff through!) and lastly, lore. Now, this was just some kind of brief introduction to give you maybe a better picture about myself! While most of that will be fixed in time (and I got some awesome friends who do some pseudo-closed RP with me to help me get a feeling for this more chat-like style of roleplaying ) I see myself being faced with a myriad of problems with the lore of this game. While I can, and should, probably read up on a lot of stuff, I never really cared too much for anything besides the main-storyline and WHM storyline(I skimmed through the AST one though, much sadness ._.), as I originally started playing, and still am, for the sake of raiding and how easy it is to grind combined with, from a gameplay perspective, only needing one character. I am already aware that nobody is, or at least should, be the lame Hero of Light or whatever the game is trying to form you into. But enough about that, to finally get to the point this post is about is in regards to Liselotte's(I'm well aware it's not an Xaela..n? name) proficiency, background and future...but mainly her proficiency! Her Background is essentially summed up really fast to this: Yesuntei Adarkim, as Liselotte was called at birth, escaped from Othard to Eorzea to run from the Empire make a fortune! After all, she loves money, too bad she is terrible at managing it, I mean, money is there to spend it, no? Because of this, she is desperate opportunistic for nearly any kind of job, as odd or mundane as it may be, as long as the coin/Gil(?) is right. I'm not going to deny I have to flesh it out, even if I have more than I presented now, but so far it is in the bounds of possibility...right? Anyways, my main issue is I don't want to be forced to stick to just one role but rather anything she feels like doing. Be it a Conjurer, edge Dark Knight, Cook, Miner, Maid or a Ninja. Heck, if possible I'd like to go to some lengths and ignore(but still respect/keep it in mind!) class-specific lore. For example she can do those healing things(Conjurer -> Cure and so on), but never sat a foot into the Twelveswood yet. I mean, all those spirit and balance shenanigans should hold true more or less for other parts of the world too, or not? Like, she surely could have picked up such skills in her time on Othard? Or what about being an Astrologian? If possible I'd want her to capable of doing such stuff too but she got only interested in it because she thought she could see the Future in a way (or alter it) to become rich! Or becoming a Dark Knight, I haven't seen much of the quest yet but I'm just going to assume one could find those traveling people all over the world. ...Do I actually have to chain myself to the class-system or could I truly just make something like a frying-pan wielding Spellsword for example? Of course I don't intend to 'power play' and make her be a multi-talent Master in everything that is possible, but Lise...likes to experiment? I hope this paragraph gave a basic gist of what I have trouble with and if what I wanna achieve is even possible. I am definitely not a lore-purist but I still want to respect it to a certain degree since it IS an established world/setting.
