My Raen Au Ra sounds like Mirajane from the anime Fairy Tail (The white haired girl) My partner's Raen Au Ra sounds like Freed from the same show. (The green haired Guy)

I don't know if I'm just missing it, but is there a section for character profiles? I've been doing some reading and so far it's been very helpful. I still don't know a few things such as the life-span of the Au Ra... Seems most races have the general life-span of 60-100 depending on health/situation. I assume the Au Ra are the same. And the actual date the game is currently at (Like what year is this? So I can figure out a Date of Birth for my character) Also are there any weekly meet ups? (Like a tavern night) where one could sort of test the waters? I'm worried about trying to jump in and people getting mad at me for accidentally lore-breaking or not understanding since I'm so new.... It's pretty much my biggest fear about starting over in a new community. I decided to play as a more meek and sheltered character to explain my IC lack of knowledge with the world, so hopefully I can learn more through rping as her.

Currently we do not have a server and I've been told it can be difficult to get to the main rp server initially, so we may have to start on another and transfer over. We have a few friends who play and are rp'ers who will help us start out. For now we are keeping the characters simple. No tragic horrible background, or anything of notable importance to avoid issues, and we're leaving background/history a mostly blank space to fill in later once we know more. For now we are just working on the personalities. Our friend is referring us so we're waiting till pay day because I really really want the fat chocobo so badly... omg it's cute. We'll take time to read through as much as we can in the meantime.

I love rp, but I don't know the lore or the game world/history very well. I've rped on WoW, Guild Wars, and AION for years, and so this is a big jump for me to go to a game I know absolutely nothing about.[/align] [align=center]My husband will be joining me, and he's in the same boat. We plan to play Au Ra's (Raen). They both interested us and look really neat to draw. I don't know what class and job strikes me, but he wants to be a Dark Knight eventually. [/align] [align=center]I hope that we can meet fun new people and enjoy rp again. Does this game have a language barrier between the different factions/races like WoW and Aion has?
