Thank you all for your replies. I will look into both link shells, although I am not sure the shroud life is exactly what I was thinking of, it still looks like a very fun place for RP! IC Stuff! Can you feel it? Can you sense it? That quality of peace, of tranquility, of oneness with nature and the elements. There is a feeling that is so unique to Gridania. The culture is tied deeply to nature. It's residence almost have a spiritual bond to nature. Look at the Conjurers guild, who's teaching are almost druidic. Or the connection to the flora and fona that is found in the teachings of the botanist. This is a group, made for those who feel that connection. Help take care of the land, maintain the balance with nature, and come together to celebrate our beautiful home in the Shroud. This group shall gather under the name of Nophica, Gridania's patron deity. We celebrate her traits, of harvest, fertility and earth. Are a Church, a Coven, a Temple, a Cult? Maybe...we are simply those who gather to show respect to the goddess, and Gridania. -Ella Strawberry OOC Stuff! Followers of Nophica is a Linkshell made for RP concerning the spirtual coonection of the resident's of Gridania to Nature. This is an idea I have been working on for a while. At first the idea was to build a drudic based RP Free Company to take care of Gridania, gather for rituals, and even have festival type events in honor of Nophica and the rest of the Twelve. But perhaps it is best to start small, and so here I have made a linkshell! The idea is to focus on building up more spiritual based RP set around Final Fantasy XIV's fantastic religious lore. Not having much luck figuring out how to get the idea out there.

Hello Hydaelyn. I have been away from 14 for some time but I am back! And Over the time I have been thinking of starting a Free Company of my own! And I was just wanting to see if there is any interest in my concept, if you all have any feedback or maybe if you can suggest one that already exists! Ever since I started playing final fantasy, both my character and I have been deeply in love with Gridania. It's strong ties to nature, and it's natural beauty. And to me the Conjurer quest line perfectly shows what I love about my favorite place in Eoriza. It feels very druidical, and that is where a bud for my Free Company idea started to bloom. I want to make a Free Company for Gridania, to honor nature and the planet. For the witches, botanists, and any of those who feel a connection to the spirituality of Eorzia to come together. To take care of the planet through almost drudaic traditions. In less flowery terms I want to maybe have a sort of pagan FC, based on the religious history of FF14, focusing manly on Gridania and followers of Nophica. As a FC we would do RP projects to help nature, along with preform rituals and throw festivals in honor of the twelve. Again with a very druid like theme. I am probably not describing it as well as I should, but I was just wanting to see if the community had any feedback or if anyone has interest in a FC like this!

When asked who she is allied to, Ella will say she is simply an ally of Hydaelyn, that she is simply an ally of the world, of it's nature and is less concerned about who she is an ally of. But talking to her will quickly show she is very closely allied to Gridania and the guilds there in. She feels strong ties to the more naturalistic views. In a similar vain she has a lot of resentment towards the people of Ul'Dah. She was adopted by a family of dunesfolk weavers and taught the value of wealth. Yet Ella often sees the people of Ul'Dah as selfish and greedy, and worries that the monarchy is hurtful, and because of this she avoids returning to Ul'dah.

Ooh! Let's see. Ella can't see well, and either uses glasses or magic to be able to read things. She is very short for a Lalafell and very self conscious, often blushing or getting upset when it is brought up or she is called "little one" (Her player though finds her reactions funny, so feel free to call her that ) Ella is deathly afraid of sandworms because one killed a friend when Ella was young. Ella dislikes being mistaken for a child and tries to wear a lot of make up to make herself look older. Strawberry is not her real last name, but she dislikes her Lalafell name

Hello! As the title says, I just joined 14! (two weeks ago today!) and Balmung 11 days ago today! So far all I can say is "THIS GAME IS THE BEST THING EVER!" I am also really new to RP and MMOs in general! But I hope to make a lot of friends, try to go to some events, tell my character's story and be part of other people's stories!! Also looking for a FC in character and maybe some LSs too! Anyway, if you would like to say hi, feel free to approach the self described "friendly" Lalafell, Ella Strawberry ICly or send her player a tell! (That's me, by the way!) Outside of tells, Ella is almost always IC so say hi! Umm, I hope that is a good introduction! And Ooh! Ooh! don't know if this is the place for it, or if it even is a thing, but I am also looking for LGBT focused Link Shells or FCs!
