Hiya guys and gals!I am returning after a fairly long hiatus from FFXIV. I've been playing WoW for the last few months (no one ever quits for good...) and decided since Blizz put in a pay your sub with in game currency system, I can finally afford to play both and only pay real money for one!

 

I am hoping to get as into RP over here as I have been in WoW the last few months and I'm pretty excited about trying out the new expansion!

 

My boyfriend has also renewed his sub and has transferred back over to Balmung with me so we hope to see you guys and gals around!

Hey! Welcome back. I'm just now returning too, and facing the problem of getting on Balmung. I figured in addition to welcoming you, I'd ask a question:

 

What did you have to do to transfer a character to Balmung? Was it as simple as "Transfer x character to Balmung"? or did you have to wait for the server pop to drop a bit?

I was actually already here, the bf was the one who moved and moved back over to Balmung. According to him, it was an instant transfer. I suppose you just have to have a bit of luck to get over without a hassle. Hope you have an easier time getting here.
