Longtime roleplayer here, looking to get into the FFXIV RP scene. I'm well acquainted with the general rules of engagement regarding RP, I just need to get familiar with FFXIV's lore and the quirks it brings to the table. I hope to strike off on a grand adventure with you all! ...And don't take it too personally if I'm not all that active on the forums, okay? B)

Welcome! The forums can be a good place to ask questions about lore as well as scope out what other people are talking about. There are some very knowledgable folks who keep track of all sorts of things.

Ah no, sadly. I got the original picture from here and have never even heard of RF Online. I used that art for an armor golem character I played once. Sorry mate!

 

 

Oddly (or perhaps fittingly) enough, that character was also named Arlon. If anyone knows the origin of the reference without googling it I'll probably be your friend forever.

 

 

Perhaps I shall see Arlon around La Noscea ere too long.
