  Sure, as long as it feels like there's a reason (pointless random attacks or meaningless violence, while realistically possible, aren't exactly compelling RP). I'll void the entire scene if godmoding starts happening, though.

  But of course! Just expect it to happen with a mind to realism. I'm not into Instant Cup-O-Romance-Noodles.

  I'm usually up for just about anything. If it has to do with my character's backstory, do me the courtesy of talking to me about it OOCly in advance so I can approve or decline, though.

  Given the wide array of MMOs available today, many of which have free-to-play options, I think it's pretty silly that anyone would pay a monthly subscription fee to RP in a game and not want to at least /mostly/ adhere to the setting. They could always go to a different game with a setting closer to what they want if this one isn't for them.
