New Erotic RPer in FFXIV

Like others have said, I think 'mature' is probably a better catch-all phrase, and while it doesn't specify 'ERP' explicitly, it does indicate, 'Hey, if this happens, I'm cool with it.', since mature tends to be inclusive of more adult-focused RP (like sexuality, violence, etc). 

 

That aside, welcome to the RPC!  As you can see, there's all sorts of people here, some with shared interests, others without shared interests.  I do hope you find whatever it is you're looking for in terms of RP.

 

Jana's got sound advice on character creation, though.  My husband tried once and barely managed to get into the server to make an alt, and another friend who was making a toon at the same time was locked out when making his literally not five seconds after, and that was months ago.  We haven't tried making a new toon since, and the window is incredibly small and very difficult to catch. 

 

Making all of your toons on another server and then moving them over onto Balmung is definitely the way to go if you're going to be hopping in any time soon, otherwise I don't hold out a lot of hope on the idea of getting into the server in the early morning, or even after maintenance anymore.

 

I had decided through plenty of research and lack of patience, to create the character on Diabolos,  then transfer over once im ready.

As others have said, make 8 characters.

 

It's the same cost to transfer 1 or 8, and you'll thank yourself later when you want alts.

Also if you're making alts, one tip i can give is that since you get a free Fantasia vial for each after subbing a month, you only really need to finalize names for them. You can play them long enough to get out of the Lv1 instance to see how you might want to tweak appearances too.

I grew up on a farm! What do you raise?

I began raining so ill be in and out.  I have chickens, horses, mini horses, goats.  and mostly cats and dogs.   I have 20+ cats, 8ish dogs.  most of them stay outside but they are more or less rescue animals.  they would have been put to sleep if we didnt take them in.  and I live with a vet   so thats cool.    Been working on the farm garden (alot of work)  and making a big area for the chickens to stay at, rather than their normal houses they live in...  they used to stay all about the farm but one or 2 of the dogs dont like the chickens and attempt/kill them.   so we are working on a new area.   We got it setup but need to make new fence that is has tighter wires (so the dogs cant get their heads through)  and taller so the chickens dont jump over it.

Always a problem somewhere and when u have 50+ animals on the farm.  its hard to tell who did what unless u catch them doing it.

I enjoy all styles as well as to me, RP is RP, and whether combat, erotic, or any other style, while I do have my preferences, I'm open to everything depending on the character's personality.

 

Just like anywhere, people can get a little touchy over things sometimes because humans are odd creatures, and every household and culture has its various shades of things that tweak them, and people have their personal biases and opinions. But if you're an old hat at this sort of thing, then that's something you already know. My advice is don't get discouraged, play what you want, and make the friends you can, and keep them near. :3

 

There are indeed guilds who deal with escorts and adult entertainment here and there, and they actually do take it quite seriously, but as stated they tend to have closed ranks, so you'd have to get to know one of the members likely. Anyway, best of luck in your endeavors and happy roleplaying. :3
