They passed pleasantries and caught up on news with each other before Syra invited Grenat to accompany her as she continued the Chroniclers' investigation into the missing shipment of Augmented Scintillant Ingots. It was only after that was decided that Syra pulled Grenat aside to deal with injuries he'd suffered in the course of his work. Once he was taken care of, Syra promised him she'd send for him when she was ready to leave for the Shroud and track down the Ishgardian Machinist that turned traitor... Syranelle Ironleaf Posted January 3, 2017 Author Share #28 Posted January 3, 2017 [align=center][/align] With the help of Grenat Querroux and his friend, Singing Raptor, Syranelle manages to track the Ishgardian Traitor all the way across the Black Shroud to the Mun-Tuy Cellars near Quarrymill. Calling in Irridias Velnyx to help with his myriad magitek, they uncover a secret Garlean tunnel in the cellars leading to the nearby Castrum. It's within that tunnel that they find their quarry, attacked and downed by his own abused chocobo. Ree took custody of the traitor then, taking him back to Ishgard for questioning. Syranelle took the abused chocobo back to Bentbranch Meadow to see that it was properly taken care of. Before they all parted ways, both Grenat and Singing Raptor promised their help when and if the Chroniclers pursued the missing shipment into the Castrum. Link to comment
Syranelle Ironleaf Posted January 6, 2017 Author Share #29 Posted January 6, 2017 [align=center][/align] The Toll was fairly quiet this evening, but Zhan'a Rakhin, Karaan Nolan, and Syranelle Ironleaf all still came across one another while dealing with various shipments coming or going. As it happens, Zhan'a was planning a trip with Syranelle to investigate some caves occupied by his tribe. He thought they might have some tie to Gelmorra, which is a known research interest of the Duskwight Elezen. While Zhan'a planned to go and negotiate with his tribe to allow their archaeology team access to the caves, Syranelle planned to put together a feast fit for miqo'te -- starting with the best miqo'bobs ever! Karaan, however, was still plagued by his family troubles and couldn't join in. Link to comment
