I joined FFXIV back in October although i had played on and off a trial account way before. I honestly was waiting for the right moment to join and play properly. I'm not new to MMO's but i still class myself as learning on FFXIV. I used to RP on WoW Back in Wrath, Cataclysm and a bit through Mists on the Moonglade EU Realm. I've since quit WoW to play other things. My other half and i are on Ragnarok it being recommended to us as a good EU server. I'm not currently considering a transfer to Balmung due to wanting to learn and play the game through first. I'll still welcome any RP that i do see on Ragnarok as me and the other half do casually RP a lot together anyway! I have seen a few every now and then but i'm not expecting a super huge swarm of people. I shall now lurk and browse things due to being kinda shy. Might post a few screenies as i get so screenie happy with my first play through. 1 Link to comment

Ultimately if you're after RP first and foremost, you'll likely want to move onto Balmung here at some point. It is, frankly, a night and day difference and very much worth the $18 (plus you can do a mass move all at once for multiple characters at the same time)! Link to comment
