Howdy folks,

 

Just said, "Teh heck with finishing the free trial! I want to be in a FC and I want to /tell people what I think."

 

Cruised the forums here before installing the trial and now I'm super hookt. Just laid down -the cash for the game and bingo-bango. I'm on Balmung now and look forward to getting involved in some storylines and whatnot.

Best way to hit the ground running is to toss up a Making Connections post with what you're looking for. Having a good idea about stuff like niches or a direction you're looking to go with your character will definitely help too!

Be sure to check the calendar here on the RPC, too, since there's usually some public RP activities going on each week and they can be a nice way to try and meet some new friends. There's also a tumblr out there somewhere which has an event listing, but I couldn't tell you where it is cuz I don't know. I'm not big into most social media type websites, so... but, hey, it exists somewhere, at least.
