[Faerie] Veteran of RP, New to MMO-RP

Hello, everyone!

 

I'm Xau Dolabnha, from the Faerie server, though I typically use "MissBrainProblems" as an OOC handle.

 

As the title says, I've been doing formalized RP for a while now (Fall 2011, if memory servers correctly) but I've never done MMO-based RP before; this is, partially, due to the fact that FFXIV is the first MMO in several years that I've ever actually found myself committed to!

 

The basic concept I have for my character - Xau - is that she's an adventuring historian that traverses Eorzea (And now the rest of Hydaelyn, too!) in search of knowledge regarding long past Eras; she uses her training as an Arcanist and the skills of the Nymian Scholars that she's picked up whenever spelunking down into dangerous ruins.

 

I also have an extensive idea of her background and life history, but I think that can probably wait until later.

Hey there and welcome aboard to the RPC! :thumbsup:

 

MMO is a bit of a different beast since it's a "persistent world." Storylines and characters continue to advance around the clock, even when you're offline, so it can be a little hard to keep up if you don't have a lot of time. Still, best of luck over on Faerie!
