The free company is age restricted to 16+ due to the authenticity of some of the story lines the guild may create. If one or more of the free company stories may contain mature or graphic content a tag to the event will be implanted for example [mature]. Our aim is to create an authentic roleplaying experience for all who interacts with the community whether the person is a member of the Ballad Community or a member of the Omega Roleplaying Community. Quote Be Lore Respectful - The Lore within the Final Fantasy XIV Universe is designed to offer the player guidance and boundaries within the Roleplaying World. We understand a player desire to bend the XIV Lore but please keep in mind if you bend something too much it will break. If at anytime you require help, please contact our Lore Team. In or Outer Character - We understand that you may feel offended by the actions of another player or their character, this can lead to you feeling frustrated, angry and defensive. The Tempus Ballad asks if you feel in such position, to remove yourself from the roleplay, take a breath or even avoid the roleplay all together as it can be harmful all all who is involved which could diminish your own fun or another within the game. Harassment - The Tempus Ballad has a zero bullying policy. Breaking our policy will lead to disciplinary action. (Writing) We understand that english is not everyone’s first language, which may mean they grammar or spelling may differ. It is important to keep this in mind whenever you roleplay with another. (Language) We understand that everyone may have their own unique way in speaking. Please remember that just because you don’t find something offensive does not mean another won’t. (Equality/ Diversity) Bullying or Abusing another for a protected characteristic will not be tolerated and will lead to instant dismissal. A protected characteristic are one or more of the following: age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership. Mature Roleplay - Is not forbidden nor will it be frowned upon. However we do ask that any mature roleplay will be kept in private or segregated channels and all players involved in such roleplay are 18+. If mature roleplay slips into any of the community channels then disciplinary action will be taking against all those involved depending the severity of the content. Metagaming | Godmodding - Breaking the 4th wall of roleplay for your design will not be tolerated. What this means is using knowledge acquired ‘Out of Character’ or spawning an object into creation instantly to give a beneficial edge to the player.
