Hey folks, Spaceman here. Been trying to get into the RP scene on Balmung and you folks seemed like a decent bunch so here I am, rock you like a hurricane. I'll try to keep this short, so here's all my business:

 

MMORPG background:

Yeesh. Where to begin? Probably got first hooked into MMORPGs back when WoW was still new. Was big into City of Heroes/Villains before moving over to Champions Online. Have played Guild Wars 1 and 2 (though I have much more time spent in GW2). Was a Space Wizard with a glow bat in SWToR for a while. And as you can probably guess, I've been spending my time in FF14 these days.

 

RP experience:

Fairly experienced, as I have RPed at some point in pretty much any MMO I have spent significant time in. I definitely still feel like a newb around some folks though.

 

Character ideas/info:

Still thinking things over, as my knowledge on the game's lore is kind of spotty. Might do some sort of "stranger in a strange land, but also memory loss" shtick, but we'll see if I come up with anything more interesting. I kind of like to figure out my characters as I go. 

 

How did you learn about the coalition?

It was literally the first result when I googled "FF14 RP".

 

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy)

Most likely light to medium. Some days I really want to do the RPs, some days I just want to hit things with swords/magic/whatever.

 

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.)

I'm a wizard, Harry. Realtalk tho, I'm a 30-something y/o Army veteran now working in software development. So I'm a nerd with combat training, but according to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I'm mostly harmless.
