New on Mateus

Greetings and salutations. I am a completely new player who has decided to commit and have just availed the base game, and am looking to dive into the FFXIV rpc and make new friends. I have been roleplaying for several years now on various platforms, from Skype, Tumblr, Discord, to a few mmo's such as Tera Online, Wildstar, and Guild Wars 2. So far I have been spending most of my time as a wallflower in Ul'Dah as I would prefer to know more about the lore before actually partaking in any interactions, but I do have two characters at the moment of typing this in the form of a hyur female, and a male miqo'te. I hope to enjoy what this game has to offer with you all.
