The voice breaks him out of his moment, eyes fixing upon the person who brought him here by caravan; Brendt or something, claims to be a trader of sorts, as he was told. He didn't care for the details, as he had no expectation of seeing him again.

 

"Still homesick? It'll pass, 'specially in a city as bustling as this. Plenty of opportunity and coin if you are willin' to put in the work for it."

 

The youth says nothing, letting the trader speak out about his own thoughts.

 

"Anyroad, I had best tend to my wares before making my way off to Gridania next. You look after yourself, lad. And make sure to sign up to the Adventurer's Guild, make some friends around here! You will count on their aid sooner or later, an' this place has some friendly faces still."

 

With the trader heading off to the markets, Leoden is left alone, making his way up the steps to the Quicksand and parting open the doors, the start of an adventure...

Hey there! Online I tend to go by the name of TiamosLoren (whom I might bring along eventually) but for now, I am experimenting with my pugilist newbie Leoden Garande. I am looking for roleplay on Omega, since I live in the UK. Found this place through a search for RP in FFXIV, so figured I would check it out. Been a long-time player of MMO's, been on FFXIV since the PS3 days and played (and roleplayed) on WoW before then. As for roleplay, it would be my second foray into RP in a game, but I have been a roleplayer - barring gaps of interest - since 2002. I will look to RP where I can, as I would have to juggle my household responsibilities and my main game characters on Phoenix and Louisoix. But I am fully willing to leave them behind if I can find compelling RP!
