Sup everybody, thanks for takin a look at my lil post! Just like the title says, I'm trying to find an outgoing and fun partner (or group) of fellow RPers to drag my poor Miqo farm boy out of his dusty little workshop (a.k.a. his family's barn) and go see the world! He's highly imaginative and creative but somewhat reclusive. He's spent most of his life on his adopted family's farm in eastern La Noscea helping his dad keep their aging old farm equipment running. As he got older he began tinkering with this and that, making wind-up toys or music boxes that sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. Eventually his dad set up their barn as a workshop for him which is where he spends most of his free time.

 

I'd really love for him to find some friends, I figured someone who is social and outgoing might be good since that's his complete opposite lol. I'm an experienced RP'er but brand new to FFxiv RP so patience would be appreciated. Any help you can offer is even better!

I'm up for all kinds of RP: easy going slice-of-life scenes as well as long term deep story arcs/plots. I'm fine with mature/dark themes also. I suppose romance isn't out of the question but just fair warning: Uno'a isn't very good at expressing romantic feelings or being very affectionate. It's not that he doesn't have these feelings but he just freezes up when it comes to showing it. His social awkwardness comes from his somewhat isolated life on the farm but he can still learn. Don't give up on him! lol

Physical Description: Frequent visitors to Hawker's Alley are likely to pass this rather unassuming looking Miqo'te at some point in their travels. Easy to over-look, Uno'a does stand quite tall for a male of his kin but lacks any type of imposing presence. A neglected nest of shaggy brown hair tops an angular yet youthful face which is oft smudged with axel grease and soot from the forge. A pair of thick lenses sit forever perched on his nose, framing his deep russet eyes rather than hiding their sensitive intelligence. His modest, functional garb speaks of a life of rural toil and simple pleasures. Stooped shoulders and a slouchy demeanor give the impression of a relaxed individual, one who's life might move at a slightly slower pace.

 

(Brief)History: Uno'a was found washed ashore La Noscea's southeastern boarder by a young Roegadyn farmer named Rhylharr Sykursyn and his wife, Doeswyb. At that time Uno'a had only seen three summers and was quite young so he couldn't really describe what happened to his family or how he'd ended up on a beach alone. Eventually, with what little information Uno'a gave and the assistance of a helpful Limsa Naval officer, they were able to piece together that he'd been traveling with his parents on a merchant ship that had recently sank. Since there were no other survivors, the Sea Wolf farmers took him in, raising him as their own son.
