Hello everyone! Just returned to FFXIV (sorta) and am looking for RP for my new main, a healer by the name of Lainey Shepard Currently located on the Crystal DC - Mateus and currently have no plans to server transfer at this time. My active hours are nightly from around 9:30 pm to 2:00 am Eastern Standard. Roleplay Free Company: Lainey is currently a healer without employment and has begun searching the adventuring companies for work. Outside of that, she may also be hired as a hostess or bartender in the meantime in order to make financial ends meet. Friends & Contacts: Always the friendly, happy, outgoing one, Lainey is quick to befriend those around her. Whether it's for a quiet social drink, an adventure through an abandoned, unexplored mining shaft or cave, to a more wild, alcohol-fueled night of dancing at Eorzea's hottest nightclubs, Lainey is down to be your partner wingman! Romance, Relationships & Flings: This Midlander is not the type to actively go searching for romance or heated flings, however, I, the player, am 100% okay with letting RP progress towards either of those things if it suits the characters. Random ERP for the sake of ERP is a no-go. Apart from RP, I'm also open to running PvE / PvP / Raids though I suck at healing and will have to level a DPS class in an effort to feel more comfortable running content as a healer. Yes I have returned, now I have updated my character. He is no longer the masked mercenary you know him as, here comes Zuken the travelling performer. With fans flocking from both gender and wide range of age, all to boost his already inflating ego. He is blunt and would be quick to mouth off some words that are ridiculous despite him being serious with it and actually meant what he said. He is very competitive and a proud attention seeker, always demanding all eyes to focus only on him. Though with his head deep in praises, you can easily get on his good side by boosting his ego and in return he will sees you as equal. Not that he looked down on others, but he will make a b-line for you and drop everything else should you need his help. He might be a dancer, but he is seasoned in battle. His dances are lethal to a large amount of enemies, making him reliable to turn any tide of a battle. Do mind to keep him clear of fire, he couldn't exactly dance when he is occupied with angry beasts that are ready to whack him out of commission in a heartbeat. How do we rp? -If you want him to do a small routine for you then please go ahead and barge into the tavern, you can find him leaning against one of the walls. Probably thinking about setting off on another small adventure. -He is well known yes, you can also be hired to either be his assistant/manager/bodyguard. Hey, I'm Sasha and new to the FFXIVRPC, but I've been doing writing (and roleplaying) mostly on forums for a long time! I didn't know how to go about finding to RP with in game, so I figured this was a good place to start. Sorry I tend to get long winded! Zv'iruh is a fisherman and shipbuilder at the docks of Limsa Lominsa, and although he wasn't especially good at it, he went into a profession as a scholar while taking care of his found family, Sarnai, who is like a little sister to him. Before he had settled into this, though, he had been a conscript in the Garlean army for eight years after the occupation of Ala Mhigo, and is still fighting his way out of the repercussions of that, be it habits, ways of thinking, or even his turbulent mental state. Thanks to the friendly demeanor and company of the sailors, Zv'iruh is a much better conversationalist than he ever was, however, he's still slow to pick up on social cues, and doesn't talk about himself much. There's a lot more about him at his card, here, if you're interested. I'm looking for any type of bonds, actually -- be it friends, enemies, sexual partners, etc. and working our way into it however it falls. Varied dynamics are my favorite things ever, and I'd be happy to plot with you and write with you. Planning can only get so far, I like to just throw the characters together and see how they react, normally. Here are some hooks: Zv'iruh does not take to magic easily, and being a scholar is actually rather difficult for him, but he is incredibly persistent. Your character can either question why he continues to put an effort at something he's not naturally talented in, or your character can help him out. Either way, he mentions that it's what he considers his "second chance", and, is not so easily ready to give it up. Your character recognizes Zv'iruh from two different paths: his first nine years with his parents, living in the Ala Mhigo area, or from his time in the Garlean army. The first would be more light-hearted, though he'd have trouble remembering your character and reconnecting. The second leaves more opportunities, such as his legion took part in destroying or killing something important to your character, they met him during an occupation, etc. and can now confront him on it. It is also possible to have been conscripts together, if that is part of your character's lore. Zv'iruh travels a lot with his sister, Sarnai, after the calamity. Your character could have easily met him on these travels. Zv'iruh takes on many sexual partners, though he rarely meets the same person more than once. He is very loose with preference as long as emotions don't get involved and he can be as rough (or they can) as he wants. Your character could easily be one of those flings, but also either end up becoming a steady thing, they end up meeting in a "normal" environment and feeling awkward, or your character is persistent, etc. Always willing to do more, but I hope that gets you started! EC-RP is a roleplaying Free Company on Balmung, Crystal DC, focused on storytelling within the boundaries of FFXIV's lore and setting. Established in 2015, we have been providing a place for those with darker inclinations since A Realm Reborn. Our Free Company is dedicated to leveraging everything we've learned in order to provide storytelling in a lore-friendly environment. Instead of focusing on constant, escalating threats or attempting to keep abreast of the MSQ, we prefer to focus on grounded roleplay that fits into the setting. What sets us apart? Without putting too fine a point on it? EC-RP is different from most other antagonist Free Companies in that it aims to foster an environment that is not simply criminal or cackling evil. The term "morally grey" gets thrown around a lot, but we prefer to look at it as moral realism. A villain does not have to be always evil all the time. Instead, that bent towards the dark can be revealed in other ways. A quiet, more subversive evil that most don't realize until it's too late. We want to tell stories that matter and we want to tell them with the greater community. Our approach to roleplay is to provide unique opportunities for organic storytelling. Every action has a reaction, every choice has a consequence. If you've ever been reading a good book and had the ending spoiled? We hate that too. At EC-RP, we avoid telling stories with predetermined outcomes. Characters and their personalities/growth should guide the RP, not the hand of a player. No metagaming, no OOC frustration over being told to have your character act in a way that would go against it. All of these things get in the way of organic roleplay. In addition, in EC-RP, your voice matters. We eschew the usual IC/OOC hierarchy to instead provide a home where you can and will be able to adjust the direction of the Free Company and it's stories. It's been awhile since I've actually been a part of an online forum community, so I'll appreciate anyone bearing with me while I adjust. I'm Jebei Dotharl and if that name is familiar, it's likely because you've encountered me at Grindstone or in Pearl Lane or you happen to know me through interactions with our Free Company, the Eldritch Collective. I'm going to use this blog to regularly highlight things we are doing or, in this case especially, changes that we've made. The last few weeks have kind of been a whirlwind. Some of you probably know <EC-RP>. It's been around for a long time and plenty of people have strong opinions about us. Recently, there has been a shake-up in terms of leadership -- Nothing negative, nothing bad; an amicable parting-of-ways. In the course of this, it was decided that EC-RP needed a new direction. One that would take it back to its roots. Those roots being grounded, organic roleplay focused on character development and community interaction. Sa'ran Dotharl and I have been left in charge of the Collective to pursue these adjustments. While Leith and Lior Emrys remain available to provide advice and council, Sa'ran and I are officially leading this FC into the future. We look forward to building something great and we hope that the community will help us do it. Already, over the course of our first two weeks of leadership, we have made adjustments to ranks and structure. We've established new rules to help us flourish. And we plan to hold several public events very soon. It's always been a personal goal of mine to play villainous foil to players with more of a good-aligned focus. And it's our "collective" goal to create those opportunities naturally and organically through our interactions with the larger community. Hey everyone! I posted a little about myself the other day in the welcome forum, but the gist is, I've been roleplaying for way too long now. However, I'm looking to get my feet wet in FFXIV now! I'm seeking out both casual scenarios and long-term plots for my Mi'qote, A'etalia Rhel. She's a mage adventurer who's always seeking out, of course, adventures and more ways to use her magic. She seems like a goody-two-shoes, and generally she is! But she's up for pretty much anything, so long as she can come back with a tale. Think of her like the obligatory D&D Paladin in your group, except with less of a staff up her ass. A'etalia is also very interested in learning more about magic, and will make an eager student or audience to any other magic user otherwise. Or, if you just want/need an adventurer to lead on a wild mouse chase... well, uh, she's a catgirl. I can type out paragraphs for days and prefer that my partners can too, but if you have an interesting tale to craft, I'm absolutely willing to be flexible there. So yeah---here's my current lineup of OCs! A little about myself is that I'm sort of nocturnal---3pm CSTto 5am CST----and I usually log onto ffxiv around 9pm/10pm CST. Given the whole lockdown/quarantine thing, however, I can log on earlier if you ask me! You can usually catch me on Paveloix Valtin@Zalera or Theron Jeulerand@Zalera. I am very much open to in-game RP but I am also a little more partial to discord RP since I do tend to write out full paragraphs. All servers on Crystal DC are welcome, btw! My partner and I are looking for an RP FC on Brynhildr. We each have a main and a couple of alts we like to RP with and are looking for an FC for that and socializing. However, most threads and things specific to Brynhildr seem to have stopped years ago. Anyone still out there? Should we consider making our own? Would we even be able to find members? Any ideas/suggestions? (please, no 'transfer to Balmung/Mateus' suggestions unless you're looking to foot the bill! )

The Forest Children is a traditional Keeper of the Moon community located on Mateus but is open to anyone on the Crystal datacentre. Merchants must sell wares that fit the theme of Nymeia- If you’re not sure feel free to contact a moderator on discord or in-game at anytime! They will be more than happy to help you out! 4. All currency is ic and no ooc gil is to be traded. If any gil/donations are offered forth, all merchants are asked to refer them to the Food Booth (which will be doubling as the Forest Children donation booth). All donations will be used for future Forest Children Events (Example: Prize money for future competitions, covering giveaway prizes, etc). Hello everyone! I'm Eywa Feyrbrand on the Zelera server looking for interested individuals looking to form a group event/community. There is no FC requirements and I will be creating a cwls for this group as well. Everyone is welcome no matter what server you're from. As long at you're on the Crystal data center you're welcome. This group will be rp focused AND content focused. Come on in and make friends both in character and out of character. Need to finish a raid for savage/extreme/normal? get a group together and run some content especially if you don't have a static! Now to focus on what this roleplaying group is based around. This won't be your average generic join us and find someone to rp. We have a whole plot in mind to start and we need others to join and make it become a reality. The group will start in Doma around the Doman Enclave. Eywa has just found out about her heritage as an heiress to a doman clan, wanting to retake her homeland and set things straight in that area. What we are looking for is creative people wanting to expand on the story and plot, and also people who are looking to explore their characters own story's and backgrounds and have fun with it! Make up plots on the side of the main arcs or create a main arc that you want to host as an event or something. So we wish to find villains/mercenaries/adventurers/possible clan members that were there when Eywa's family was overthrown/rival clan members who want to have disagreements/travelers/Guards for the clan family or town. I would like to use various locations and spread out for roleplaying Example: Kugane, Shirogane, Doman Enclave, various zones in Stormblood.
