Hello, I'm looking to join a RP FC that's focused around social interactions and adventuring. Whether it's a trading company that hires people to protect their goods, a group of information brokers or straight up treasure seekers doesn't matter. What's important however (and the reason why I post here instead of applying to any of the FCs listed in the club) is that due to my weird schedule I'm usually missing all the events in most FCs I've been in the past. I play mostly between 3am - 11am EDT on week days and it would mean a world to me if there were actually events happening around this time (no, it's not a must that there are daily/weekly events during these hours, but being able to participate even once in a while would definitely resolve the issue of feeling like I'm not participating in life of the FC when it matters the most). -

Greetings. I'm a returning player with a new character I would like to integrate into more story driven RP. I'm in particular looking for a suitable FC to do this with, but I'm looking for other contacts a well. Proud Dahlia is the daughter of wealthy Ul'dahns who often grows bored with her life of privilege. A trained fencer, she often fights in various tournaments to entertain herself. When not doing that, she's a dilettante scholar of historian, particularly magical history. While the subject is a passion of hers, she mainly pursues it as a means to explore and adventure. Her recent research into the history of Abanian red magic has led to her beginning to practice it herself. Dahlia's a bit cocky and certainly lives up to the 'proud' part of her name. That said, she's not oblivious to the plight of those beneath her station and does what she can to help, donating any earnings from her prizefighting and adventures to help those less fortunate. Most recently she's been championing the restorations of Doma and Ala Mhigo as the war for their liberation draws to a close. -
untilEach Friday, we will have an RP night for the free company starting at 8:00 PM eastern time! There is no strict purpose for this event other than RPing together, so we might do everything from social RP at the house, attending public events on the server, or progressing FC storylines! I've been playing on Cerberus for, coming close to, two years now. I have a main character, Nara, and a bunch of alts. One of them is looking to join an FC or LS that focuses more on RP/Casual play on Cerberus. RP and eRP are acceptable to me, so I'm open to either. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be very much appreciated!

May or may not still be staffed and functional. Likely around Thanalan, as Ul'dah was the first town client's friend reached after escaping and a few suns of running. If facility is located, search for clues about whether the mother of the client's friend is living or dead. Little information known, only that the woman was a scholar. Hello, I’m a returning player to the game, returned for stormblood mostly but also rp. However, I’m still new to the rp side of things. Used to have a friend core group, but it seems they’ve all either jumped to other servers or quit altogether, so looking for new cool people to hang with along with people to rp with. My character is M’isha Bearclaw. He was brought over to Uldah as a refugee at a young age. Have more on his past, but I’ll save that for his wiki page once I get off my butt and actually work on it. Character wise he’s a bit shady. He’s a career con man, but likes to tell people he’s a “traveling salesman”. What most people don't know is the goods he sells are either stolen or really shoddy quality, but made to look nice(think like bootlegs).Outside of that I imagine him coming up with stupidly convoluted schemes to get gil, just to drink or gamble it all away later. Push comes to shove and he really needs gil he’s not above pick-pocketing or straight up mugging people. I think he’d fit in well with a criminal fc of some kind, I could see him getting into more serious crimes if motivated by coin. Personality wise he’s very outgoing and comes across as very friendly , with his true feelings or intent hidden. He plays things close to the vest. However, the kind visage drops when he feels threatened or angry, in fact he can be a bit of a hothead at times and lose his cool. I’m looking for an fc for him primarily. Also looking for acquaintances, friends, enemies, really anything for him because right now I got nothing. Also a bit unrelated looking for friends in general for pve content, though I’m still catching up with stormblood so can’t do anything endgame just yet. I tend to be on evenings eastern time zone on weekdays and as much as I can on Saturday or Saturday.

Chapter 7: Operation Frozen Vigil The sound of a lone quill scratching against parchment as Headmistress Klara Vyne signed her name. She looked over the paper once more and nodded in approval, her gaze moving up to the two men in front of her. One was a young elezen who wore a mark signified by a bell and the other a much older hyur man with a white beard, his tunic bearing the mark of a rook. “Thank you for your assistance in these patrols, Miss Vyne.” The older man gave a smile, his eyes wrinkling as he did so, the years of faithful service as a guard in Falcon’s Next apparent on his face. “I hope that this will help open doors for future cooperation between your academy and Houses Dzemael and Durendaire of Ishgard.” Klara stood as the two men prepared to leave, bowing politely to each as the bowed to her. “I look forward to forming an alliance between us. I will brief my students on the mission and they will gladly carry out the task. After all, there is nothing like learning hands on.” The man again smiled, “I always say..never woulda learned a thing if it hadn’t been for my old man takin’ me out on patrols with him. Most valuable lessons I learned were out on those treks. At any rate, we’ll need to get going. It’s a long journey back and we’ll want to try and beat the next round of snowstorms. Farewell, Miss Vyne. We’ll be seeing the lot of you real soon.” And with that, the two men left the office. Klara looked down at the paperwork in front of her. The sigil of the two houses stamped onto the document next to her own signature. She tapped her chin thoughtfully before getting straight to work on posting the mission overview for interested students. Attention all students and staff: It is with great pleasure that IPA is announcing our next mission. We will be accepting applications for willing and able students, BLAZE members, and staff to partake and oversee Operation Frozen Vigil. Those who wish to apply may pick up an application form at the office of the Headmistress. Those who are chosen for this mission will be informed and will be required to attend mission briefs and strategy sessions in addition to their normal classes. No work will be excused for participating in this mission.

Stuck on how to progress your character's plot or your FC's storyline? Want to create an interesting arc with another player character? Maybe just want an excuse for your character to meet some new people and network with other groups? Perhaps even want some test subjects participants to DM an encounter? The Shroudrose Teahouse and Tavern is a cozy teahouse and bar located within the Lavender Beds of the Twelveswood, but lesser known is that the same establishment serves as information brokering and private investigations business. Teatime can help provide information on any person, place, or thing. What you need to know OOC: Due to the potentially questionable nature of the business, the information brokering side of things is kept on the down-low IC, but it’s no total secret. If you have reason for your character to know, then you can assume they do. Our FC is not lore-strict, but we are lore-friendly. We are flexible and can accommodate for bending the lore, but not breaking it. Please be respectful of this and do not knowingly ask our FC to investigate anything that goes against lore or reasonable belief, or that may otherwise be uncomfortable or inappropriate. Teatime has no interest in getting on the wrong side of the law. Any deals involving anything too immoral or illegal may potentially be declined... and maybe tattled to the proper authorities. All payments are IC, no actual gil or item exchanges necessary. We can find information in two ways: If your character needs to know something to advance your own plot, your character can hire Teatime, and you can give us the necessary information OOC along with any details about when/how/where you wish our characters to discover it, which we can either role-play (be it with NPC's, DMing, or otherwise) or assume to have happened behind the scenes. This is your story, so the details will be in your control as much as you wish for them to be! Teatime can then relay the information to your character. If your character wishes for Teatime to gather information on another player character, Teatime can try to obtain this information. This will happen organically via role-play or with whatever cooperation the other role-player is willing to give. Given this involves the variable of a third party, we cannot guarantee results this way. We will not metagame for information on other characters, though eavesdropping IC will be considered fair game, unless any party objects. This is meant to be a fun and collaborative experience, so we will respectfully drop any job where a participant is unwilling or unhappy. You may be responsible for getting us in touch OOC with the player of any character you want us to obtain information on. We want to embrace "secrecy" as much as possible for the fun and immersion of the RP, but we have to make some sacrifices in the name of fairness to all parties and we hope you will be understanding!
