Returning player trying to find people!

Hello everyone! 

I"m playing an Au-Ra over on Balmung server.

I'm just returning to the game after a very long absence, and I didn't play for long to begin with. My old linkshell is inactive and my FC seems to be gone utterly. Would love to make contact with people, maybe find a linkshell and/or an FC. Since I'm not sure what else to write, I'll just follow the template.

MMORPG background:

I played WoW for many years off and on. Still do every once in a while. Played Aion and a bunch of other stuff that didn't really work for me. I played Rift for almost 5 years, mainly just roleplaying and building stuff. I played Black Desert Online really hardcore for a couple years, and login to Blade and Soul every now and then. MMORPG's are by far my favorite type of game, since I'm quite social and love RP.

RP experience:

See above, mostly. 5 years of RP in Rift, about 4 years of RP in World of Warcraft, and a couple years playing D&D and LARP stuff, but IRL obligations pushed those last two out.

Character ideas/info:

  I'm really still developing my character since I'm still playing through the storyline, and I also like to do a little (or sometimes a lot) of character building dynamically based on what's going on with whatever group I associate with... I tend to find guilds or other kinds of groups of people that I regularly RP/quest/raid with. 

 He is an Au-Ra that's funloving and kind of overzealous sometimes, but tends to be quiet around new people. He is very curious and has an insatiable thirst for new knowledge and experiences. 

How did you learn about the coalition?

 I really don't remember. I had this site bookmarked from way back when I started playing in the ARR beta.

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy)

 Generally I'm a medium roleplayer I would say. I'm not by any means always in character, but most of what I pursue in game has an RP purpose to it. Sometimes if I'm playing alone I'll still immerse myself and react to NPC's or whatever with emotes or other RP responses.

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.)

 I'm a 40yo man. I have a natural son and a step-son. I love hiking, bicycling, painting, building things (like furniture), and I'm generally busy most days until around 8 or 9 pm. I'm intensely loyal, and continually check back in with people in games I don't actively play anymore because, you know, after playing with someone a lot, that has a real impact for some people like me.

Best way to establish new connections after being away for a while will be to toss up and respond to ads on the Balmung and/or Mateus Discords. Those are excellent resources. The Making Connections forum here on the RPC is also an excellent option.
