New to RP, but not FFXIV

MMORPG background:

I've played a lot of MMORPGs before and owned FFXIV since Stormblood. Though I've only gotten really into FFXIV about when the Shadowbringers expansion released. 

 

 

RP experience:

Absolutely none, I really want to get into FFXIV RP since it seems fun. 

 

Character ideas/info:

My character's name is Hifumi Kanno, she is a 27 year old auri Xaela born on the Steppe. However she was homeless on the streets of Kugane for a few years as a child until a caring family took her in. Outside of her interest in Black Magic and Alchemy, she has a very poor memory and often writes things down in a small pocket book. She does have some abandonment issues but tends to keep those to herself. Hifumi also has a strong desire to return to the steppe and explore her birthplace. Personality wise I haven't really fleshed that part of her out yet, but I was thinking of her having a mature and serious vibe, but with a small childish side that she tends to hide infront of people. Looks wise she has dark grey hair with light green highlights, heterochromatic eyes (left is purple while the right is green) with light green limbal rings. She also loves her green lily corsage and never leaves it behind. As for her height she's approximately 5'2''/147.5cm tall with a slim body type.

When I was googling about FFXIV RP

 

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? 

 

I want to be a medium (maybe heavy?) RPer, however I'll need to get into the groove of RPing. I was thinking about getting into Yakuza/Far Eastern related RP. I still do want to go around doing content since she's my second character on Shadowbringers (I have another character on Jenova who In use to mainly do the latest content).

 

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing?

 

I'm currently in college (starting my junior year at the end of the month), so when my classes start up I'll have to be on less due to those restrictions. I also have a lot of irl friends who going to start playing FFXIV after 5.3 drops, so I'll be switching a lot between Mateus and Diablos due to that.
