Hello From an Eve Refugee

Hello all, I just started playing last week and am hooked. It took me about ten characters to figure out which race/first class I wanted to role. I picked a Lalafell Gladiator (though I know that matters less as you can level everything). I’ve always had a soft spot for gnomes and gnome-like characters.

 

I have RPed a lot in other games and table tops. I started with 2nd edition AD&D in the wayback. Played WoW and LotRO for a bit. I then spent way too much time lurking in Eve. There is a lot to like about Eve, but I just can’t sit through another RP exchange in which being in favor of religiously sanction slavery is an acceptable line of argument.  I’m more of a fantasy fan anyway; wizards > lasers.

 

I prefer heavy roleplay, but not to the level of being bothered by others not doing so.  I’ll probably take some time learning the game before seeking out a FC, but feel free to bump into me if you see me running about in mismatched newb gear.
