New to the whole thing...

Hello everyone! As you can see I am new to FFXIV roleplaying in general. I've actually started playing the game this year and I'm really enjoying it but recently I have been wanting to try some RP in the game itself. 

 

Even though I do want to give it a try I am quite nervous about it and also the fact I really don't have a backstory for my character at all! I felt like if I played a bit more I'd have something in mine to do with him but Im still unsure on where to began. With that said I am not so new to rping as I had done so with online friends before. Though I think as usual it could use some working on I hope to learn more from others as well! I just hope one day I can be able to give my character a decent background and finally give him a chance to shine!

Hello and thanks for the reply I definitely will check it out! I was actually wondering if there were amy EU communities that rp so thank you for the suggestion!

Hello there, Khali, welcome!  It's good to have some basic concept of your character before you jump into RP, but you don't need a fully fleshed backstory before you start! It's okay (and easier) to figure out the finer details along they way as you RP. I hope you can jump into some RP soon!

Thanks glad I can join and its good to know I may be overthinking it a bit. I'll just have to get some basic things together for him and see what I cone up with!
