Places to just observe?

I want to get into RPing, but I want to kind of watch to get a feel for it all. Is there a group/hangout/ect on the Leviathan server to me to just kind of observe before I full decide to get into it? Any tips to get into it as well that you wish someone would have told you before you started? Thanks in advance for the help!

So are there good places to start looking universally? Or is it just each server kind of has a different way of going about the rp scene? Or should I visit another world for a little bit to see what it's like?

Each Data Center and to a lesser degree each server is going to be different. But you may be able to find some RP without changing Data Centers or even servers.
