Kael Roganti Posted July 29, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 29, 2010 I made these pics in art class. The assignment involved us having to draw live models, and after getting the body proportions, we had to alter their appearances on the outside. So, I turned my friends into Final Fantasy characters! I hope these attachments work.. I was having trouble earlier uploading the images. http://s926.photobucket.com/albums/ad107/markymarco226/?action=view¤t=DSCN2627.jpg& http://s926.photobucket.com/albums/ad107/markymarco226/?action=view¤t=DSCN2627.jpg!oZZ2QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs926.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fad107%2Fmarkymarco226%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DDSCN2624.jpg%26 http://s926.photobucket.com/albums/ad107/markymarco226/?action=view¤t=DSCN2627.jpg!oZZ3QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs926.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fad107%2Fmarkymarco226%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DDSCN2623.jpg%26 http://s926.photobucket.com/albums/ad10 ... 622.jpg%26 Link to comment
Kael Roganti Posted July 29, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted July 29, 2010 is there another way to upload images besides putting in url links? I'm searching the forum faq, but I can't find any solutions Link to comment
Tadir Posted July 29, 2010 Share #4 Posted July 29, 2010 There is a button to upload, then you have to click on the place inline button. You have a wonderful grasp of rendering flesh tones. Very well done. The proportioning of your anatomy, however, needs a little work. Nice job with the conversions. Link to comment
Kylin Posted July 29, 2010 Share #5 Posted July 29, 2010 Just copy/paste the IMG code as it is on Photobucket (in the little "menu" to the left of the pic). It'll show up like this (putting it in spoiler tag due to its size and to help with loading). Link to comment
Kael Roganti Posted July 29, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted July 29, 2010 ohhh ok. I just found out that my initial problem was that the images were too large, so I'll try editing them in photoshop. Thanks for the tips guys! I'll edit the post so people don't have to click on url links Link to comment
Asyria Posted July 29, 2010 Share #7 Posted July 29, 2010 That's pretty nice! Random trivia: the first attempt at a LOTR movie was animated by first filming actors, than drawing over them (mostly the supporting cast, though) Link to comment
Tadir Posted July 29, 2010 Share #8 Posted July 29, 2010 It's a common technique called rotoscoping. It was used for the dance scene in beauty and the beast, and in Cinderella. Link to comment
Vareal Posted July 29, 2010 Share #9 Posted July 29, 2010 Also, more commonly, used in the Star Wars movies for the light sabers. Ever see Ryan vs Dorkman on youtube? Yeah, those guys got jobs at ILM for their rotoscoping techniques in the two videos they made. It's also a very long drawn out process that I've done once or twice before.... Of course ILM has their own proprietary software for rotoscoping, something we (the public) will never see unless we get a job there. Good luck! Link to comment
Asyria Posted July 29, 2010 Share #10 Posted July 29, 2010 Right SW in 1977 for lightsabers and LOTR in 1978 for actors! Was still pretty innovative back then, no? Link to comment
Axl Posted July 29, 2010 Share #11 Posted July 29, 2010 You have quite a lot going for you man! good luck! Link to comment
