Maeve Posted August 14, 2013 Share #26 Posted August 14, 2013 Oh that just reminded me, I find it funny when I have friends that won't eat subway because of the quality then proceed to go to macdonalds or drink Coke :dodgy: Link to comment
Ryanti Posted August 14, 2013 Share #27 Posted August 14, 2013 I am forced quite often to eat Subway during the semesters I have class. Because it's either that or Taco Bell and Chic Fil'A. Unless I wanna drive and pay money that's not coming out of my financial aid. So despite me really preferring either local substations or places like Firehouse, I'm very familar with Subway. And how shitty their subs are. And how razor thin those slices of meat are too. Greedy bastards.[/i] Link to comment
Aleister Posted August 14, 2013 Share #28 Posted August 14, 2013 Now I have a question...You all know how good Subway's cookies are (Obviously subject to opinion). How would the sandwich maker react if you just came in and requested 20 cookies? Before that how would they feel at the fact you only went in there for their cookies lmao? I am so tempted to drive up there right now and find out, whose with me? Probably thing you're on weed or something lol. Thats gross though, those cookies themselves are packed with 300+ calories. ._. Thats a full meal right there on some of them cookies. Link to comment
S'demyx Tia Posted August 14, 2013 Share #29 Posted August 14, 2013 Idunno what's up with the Subway hate! D: It's one of the only few places I could go get vegetarian food ('sides burger king) AND actually taste good. But now I'm vegan and the veggie patty has dairy/eggs in it (as do their bomb oatmeal cookies). Whoa is me! ~ 1 Link to comment
Demon Fox Posted August 14, 2013 Share #30 Posted August 14, 2013 while those cookies are probably really good I'm sure they are just bought in by a bakery / vendor like most retailers get. You're part right, i don't know how Subway operates in other places around the globe but over here (in the UK) the cookies get delivered on trays, but they are "Raw", by that i mean it's just clumps of shaped cookie dough on a tray that they throw in the oven as soon as they get them. At least that's what they used to do when i worked there, One of the best parts of working there was that freshly baked cookie smell. Link to comment

Though I have to double up on the meat to get a good amount of protein. It is the cookies I despise and think they just throw massive amounts of junk in it. Link to comment
Ryanti Posted August 14, 2013 Share #32 Posted August 14, 2013 I'm no vegetarian, and far from being a vegan, but I know that places like The Purple Onion are excellent vegan 'franchises'. Link to comment
Disglair Posted August 14, 2013 Share #33 Posted August 14, 2013 I just wanna say that me and my roommate in college used to get the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies all the time. One night we decided we wanted cookies at like...pft, 8:30 at night. So we swing through the drive-thru and order like 4 of them. The guy gave us about a dozen because they were going to throw them out since it was almost closing time. I still love that man. Link to comment

Domri Blackblade Posted August 15, 2013 Share #36 Posted August 15, 2013 So, as per request I walked into my local subway and asked for twenty chocolate chip cookies. My buddy behind the counter immediately laughed and then was all, "Oh, you're serious? I don't have twenty right now so you have to wait for them to bake." I didn't really want twenty, but it gave him a good laugh. He was certainly willing to bake them for me. I might have to try it at a subway where I don't know the staff though to get maximum shock value. 1 Link to comment
Fiona Swift Posted August 15, 2013 Share #37 Posted August 15, 2013  Epic Win. If you want another thumbs up go to a new subway and blow their minds. ps: my cookie craving was solved yesterday. Manager at my job baked snickerdoodle cookies. OMG!? White chocolate chip cookies that had a slight almond taste to them. Topped with Cinnamon and Sugar. *dies* :bomb: *cookie* Link to comment
