II. RP Style

 

 

 

• Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):
   
  Any.  I'll go light or none if a non-rp'er is in the group/raid.
   
  I tend to stay in character unless it's clear another conversation participant is not rp'ing.
   
  
• Views on RP combat and injuries:
   
  Even if the result is randomized through PvP or /random I'd prefer a private discussion and a little planning beforehand.
   
  I'm willing to roleplay temporary injuries but anything permanent or disfiguring would be a tough sell.
   
   
  
• Views on IC romance:
   
   
  Via tell or in a private instance/zone anything goes.
   
  Otherwise, same as common RL mores.  Minor stuff, no problem.  Filling my chat buffer with kisses or worse in /say is a no-no.
   
   
  
• Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
   
  Sound great as long as it's pre-planned.  Stumbling across a long lost uncle I've never heard of...no.
   
   
  
• Views on lore:
   
  I prefer to adhere to it whenever possible.  If I'm not sure something in my own character's story is lore compatible I either wait until I'm sure or go with something else.
   
   
   
  
• Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):
   
  /say - In Character unless absolutely surrounded by non-rp'ers
  /linkshell - IC in RP linkshell, OOC in non-RP linkshell
  /tell - same.  IC with rp'ers, OOC with non-rp'ers or on agreement.
