I'm afraid if I go elsewhere, I won't find the community and friendships that I seek. Should I keep holding out for who knows how long or just buckle and create on a diff server? Link to comment

I don't think we'll be accessing the servers (unless your one of the lucky few who manage to get through the barrier) untill early access/release. Not to mention, you'll make friends regardless of which server choice. Link to comment

Havoc Snow Posted August 18, 2013 Share #11 Posted August 18, 2013 If RP is your main concern I'd suggest rolling on Balmung (though as I understand that may be full as well?) or waiting for Gilgamesh. If RP is just a secondary or tertiary concern then there are plenty of servers old and new to pick from. Other than the fact that you'll see people in AF gear or riding Legacy Chocobos on Balmung I actually didn't see that much of a difference in the two servers. The economy seems pretty much the same as of yesterday, and the amount of new players on Balmung vastly outweighs the old ones, so if playing with Legacy players doesn't scare you I'd suggest giving it a try. Just be patient but if Gilgamesh is closed and Balmung opens head there, you can always make an alt on Gilgamesh later. Link to comment
