Does it make a difference when i choose to be WHM?

So i started leveling Conjurer and eventually want to become White Mage but do i just grab that as soon as i get the lvl 30 Conj and Lvl 15 Arc requirements or should i max out on Conj first?

 I think requirements for Whm is Conj lvl 30 and Glad lvl 15 or did they change it?

I think they've actually changed it. When I equipped my BLM the other day, the cross classes are Archer and Arcanist, when they used to be Pugilist.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if they did the same with Con as well.

In regards to your question: it depends on your playstyle. Do you prefer soloing or party play for leveling up? Conjurer will be better at soloing, whereas White Mage will be far better for party play.

It is 30 Cnj and 15 ACN for White Mage, they have indeed changed it.

Oh, then I have enough levels to unlock WHM! My CON is 31 from 1.0 and I've been leveling ARN for fun. Do I need to finish all the CON quests to unlock the WHM quest?

I'm not too sure, I haven't leveled my character to 31 yet. Perhaps someone else might have the answer to this?

That's incorrect, though.  It's been confirmed both in-game and by looking at the abilities themselves that it's Conjurer and Arcanist.
