Despite everything that is happening...

Recommended Posts

Let's take a moment to realize what Square Enix and Yoshi-P and his development team did:

They spent the past three years completely overhauling an MMO, 2-3 years faster than a conceptual one comes out. They have probably sacrificed more in their lives in the past three years than what we really know to make sure we will have faith in them again. So, I would like to gather the community together to say thanks...despite the server issues.

If you want to write a personal message to Yoshi-P and the team you can. I think they need it right now. Let's show him the love he has shown for us.

I sent a message! It's the least I could do given that this is the first MMO in years that has managed to capture my interest and help me regain my faith in what was swiftly becoming a very stale and predictable genre. It's also the closest thing to a multi-player FFXII that I could hope for.

This is quite a nice gesture and I was happy to toss a few words along as well. Grievances aside, they did do something quite remarkable. I will be pleased as peaches when the server issues on our side are resolved, hopefully sooner than later. I had gone from completely disinterested in the game about a month ago to very eager to play. I'll blame it on the lalafells.

No-one is without their disappointments and annoyances held towards the game from the start of early access but I don't think anyone in this community was genuinely hating on SE and blaming them for much.

I have finally found myself being driven daft by the login failures in the evening time but I am still in love with this game and wont go about bashing it or complaining about it and, like I said, I'm sure almost everyone, if not everyone, in this community is of the same opinion.

Will add my own bit now, thank you very much. I'd really like for Yoshi and his team to know that his work for this version, despite the niggly drawbacks so far, is highly appreciated, and that's coming from someone who has never touched another FF game before. I can only imagine how happy previous users must feel.

Oh i agree, I was in love with the game in 1.0 flaws and irritations and all (still wish 2.0 was as wide and open as 1.0 was though). Anything I might say is just me blowing off some steam... I'm more than likely going to be buying 90 days as soon as I can. xD
