My hands are actually really bad. I have constant "shakes", which don't really hinder me in anything I do, but whenever they're not doing anything they tremble. It's freaky. ;_;

Though when drawing they're steady as a rock.

Sure, It's a double post, but it's an update!

 

So~

I had some computer problems yesterday and the day before, which took up way more time than I would have liked. Ultimately missed the "deadline" for the RPC banner contest, but since it's not closed yet, I still have a chance! â¥

 

So, my banner entry:

I like doing the differences between heights and proportions of characters, it's fun and I need the practice of doing varying sizes.

Dissapointed with what available clothes I've seen ingame so far (as I've said a million times all over the place), So I just did whatever I felt like~â¥

Very nice! I really like how clean your art style is and how much depth your character's clothing are. It's really good. ^^

 

Oh and for resizing software, have you thought of using The Gimp? It's a freeware program that has a lot of nifty features... though it does take a bit of time getting used to it.

If you have trouble with the Flash command, a really good way to fit the whole image on there is to 'Upload attachment'. It's the tab right next to 'Options'. This is located right below the 'POST A REPLY' box.

Well~

Actually there was a lot of stuff going through my head while doing all the pictures. They developed personality traits and stuff while drawing them too. My favorite is the elzen â¥

She's supposed to be a pirate >_>

And~ I had to avoid doing people's characters, steering clear of favoritismer-related stuff. Which was a pain (since I already have some characters drawn and could just re-do them).

The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is definitely worth looking into! The only problem is it's interface is not very user friendly (a lot of stuff I know is by poking around thing), but it does allow for some nifty tricks, like resizing and...

It doesn't resize it, but it puts it in it's own window inside the post where you can scroll left/right, up/down. Check out the RL Pic thread, some of the folks there have done just that.

Piro of Megatokyo was actually a heavy influence in making me want to draw, and my early drawing style. I used to love reading Megatokyo (Though I stopped a couple of months after Largo left). I'm just surprised that you saw a connection!

 

Havn't been doing a lot of XIV related artwork lately though. Either playing it (and not really making progress), or working on character pictures for something else.

 

All I've done lately was a picture for Coralie.
