Tsuki_Wulf Posted August 31, 2010 Author Share #101 Posted August 31, 2010 Scyra gives a quick little nod, "I knew a Knight once that practiced it, the stronger your inner strength the stronger your spells because from the spells I studied. You either gave of your own flesh to heighten your own powers, or absorbed the powers of your enemy's, either way its some powerful stuff that allows the person to affect the body more then that of the world around them. Defiantly not my kinda magic." Link to comment
UnbeknownstGhost Posted August 31, 2010 Share #102 Posted August 31, 2010 Bob nodded, "Good, I don't have to go over the basics. Well, with thaumaturgy one can affect ones body by stealing the life of anothers. With enough practice you can even heal ligaments, skin, nerves, things that deteriorate over time. Understand?" Tsuki_Wulf Posted August 31, 2010 Author Share #103 Posted August 31, 2010 "Sounds like your a blood ghoul with a heartbeat." Scyra says before finishing off her drink and standing up. "I'm getting some air, be back shortly." She then renewed her spells as she left the room to the balcony. Link to comment
UnbeknownstGhost Posted August 31, 2010 Share #104 Posted August 31, 2010 Bob shrugged, "Basically." Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #105 Posted August 31, 2010 Having finished his drinks for the night, Vale stretched once more before resting his hands on his sides. He glanced around the pub for a few moments before leaning against the bar next to Isabel once again. Link to comment
Nahue Posted August 31, 2010 Share #106 Posted August 31, 2010 She looks to Vale, wrapping her arm around his, her face contemplative, "Watcha thinkin' about?" Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #107 Posted August 31, 2010 "Nooothin'" Vale tilted his head back, staring up to the rafters. Link to comment
Nahue Posted August 31, 2010 Share #108 Posted August 31, 2010 Her nose crinkled at his response as she slowly leaned closer towards him, "Liar~" Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #109 Posted August 31, 2010 Vale smirked. "Just wondering how Cid's getting on with the repairs." Link to comment
Nahue Posted August 31, 2010 Share #110 Posted August 31, 2010 She shrugs, "Kind of a stupid thought ya know.. he's probably finished by now." Isabel smiled, leaning her head against his shoulder, "Cid is a smart cookie." Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #111 Posted August 31, 2010 "Yeahh, but the sooner we're good to go the sooner we can check out the next tip!" A wide grin formed as he turned his head down to Isabel. Link to comment
Nahue Posted August 31, 2010 Share #112 Posted August 31, 2010 Shifts her eyes upward to look at Vale, "What's the next tip? Or are you not going to tell me again?" Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #113 Posted August 31, 2010 He tapped his nose and winked to Isabel. "Where's the fun in knowing? I'll let you know when we get ready for it." Link to comment
Tsuki_Wulf Posted August 31, 2010 Author Share #114 Posted August 31, 2010 Scyra stood on the balcony alone gaze out across the sea, shimmering in all it's beauty from the moon light with a few large ships out in the distance. After a deep breath Scyra sighed with content, before turning around and heading back into the pub. "Hope Vee's the kind to share the important stuff and only lets the 'small' things slide." Scyra spoke allowed to her self. Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #115 Posted August 31, 2010 Of course he was. A rowdy bar just didn't seem like the kind of place to talk about hints to great treasures and things of the like. Unless you were trying to make it more of a challenge, that is. Vale reached over and mussed up Isabel's hair before smiling over to Scyra when she returned. "How's the air?" Link to comment
Tsuki_Wulf Posted August 31, 2010 Author Share #116 Posted August 31, 2010 "It's nice, full moon tonight so you can see all the way out to the horizon, I'll never get tired of sights like that, can't wait to see mountain ranges from a airship though." Scyra said with a little smile before returning to her seat. Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #117 Posted August 31, 2010 He smiled and nodded. "If you think that's good, just wait until a rainy day. Down here it'll be dank, dreary, and dark. Nice little trip above the clouds and you'll see amazing sights. The sun reflecting off of the top of the clouds makes everything look fantastic." Link to comment
Tsuki_Wulf Posted August 31, 2010 Author Share #118 Posted August 31, 2010 "That does sound fantastic, I'll be looking forward to it." Link to comment
UnbeknownstGhost Posted August 31, 2010 Share #119 Posted August 31, 2010 "I've always loved thunderstorms above the clouds on a moonless night," Bob said, "The thinner air already leaves you breathless, and then at first you see the lights flashing through clouds, you hear the waves of sound shattering against the hull, the starlight falling down upon the ship and seemingly holding it aloft, and then the lighting dances through the clouds, swirling, jerking, dancing with itself and a thousand friends, crackling with laughter and song. Now that is a beautiful sight." Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #120 Posted August 31, 2010 Vale glanced over to Bob. "First non-pessimistic thing I think I've heard you say." Link to comment
UnbeknownstGhost Posted August 31, 2010 Share #121 Posted August 31, 2010 Bob raised his eyebrow, "What? A man can't enjoy a beautiful sight?" Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #122 Posted August 31, 2010 "Never said that." He grinned. "But I thought you were Mr. doom and gloom." Link to comment
UnbeknownstGhost Posted August 31, 2010 Share #123 Posted August 31, 2010 Bob smiled, "I am. Doesn't mean things, people, and places can't have their beauty." Link to comment
Veedo Posted August 31, 2010 Share #124 Posted August 31, 2010 "Well, I like the positive side to you more." He grinned and nodded. Link to comment
UnbeknownstGhost Posted August 31, 2010 Share #125 Posted August 31, 2010 "I don't," He muttered, "It's all warm... and fuzzy." Link to comment
