Zyanya Posted September 2, 2010 Share #76 Posted September 2, 2010 Hi guys, I'm not sure if this would be considered but is it possible to put an announcement somewhere in the forum header with a link to the voting post? It took me about 5-10 minutes of looking around before I spotted the voting post. I know that it may seem kind of a lazy request but it may help those who are coming here from other forums to vote (and may be helpful for others like me who have to make every second of forum browsing count)! It's hard for me to get on once I'm at work so I often miss out on a lot of mid-day posting. We already have a big DNS block going on (no Youtube, FB, etc) - I have a feeling they'll start blocking more things soon. Just a suggestion... not sure how easy or desirable it would be. x Link to comment
Selyne Posted September 2, 2010 Share #77 Posted September 2, 2010 Thanks for keeping this information updated! I'm watching it like a hawk as I need to report to my linkshell before bedtime in just a couple hours. :cheer: Link to comment
Siben Posted September 2, 2010 Author Share #78 Posted September 2, 2010 it's almost 6am my time and it looks like there's no more juicy tidbits coming in for now so...I think I'm gonna finally catch some Zzz's. I'll update the thread in a few hrs when I get back. Link to comment
EDEN Posted September 2, 2010 Share #79 Posted September 2, 2010 aww man i want the voting to be over i finally got my key and downloaded everything but we haven't decided on a world to play on grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Link to comment
Boots Posted September 2, 2010 Share #80 Posted September 2, 2010 The Kupo Knights' date=' the leading LGBTQ linkshell wants to roll on Garland.[/quote'] Any updates on this? This will legitimately affect where my FF XIV curious friends play, and because I approve of LGBTQ friendly atmospheres. :flower: Some people like swords. I like rainbows. :flower: I was curious about this myself, so I checked it out. Unfortunately, they're rolling on Figaro, so I don't think we'll be seeing much of them. That is kinda sucky. Maybe that will change after Blue Gartr crashes their party train? Link to comment
Pandaemonaeon Posted September 2, 2010 Share #81 Posted September 2, 2010 I hear Rocs Lock is heading to Lindblum... Which means all those wierdos from youtube will follow >< Link to comment
Soren Miren Posted September 2, 2010 Share #82 Posted September 2, 2010 I can't speak for other servers or cities, but Gridania in Lindblum is pretty heavily congested, in part by a number of organized groups. Rocs Lock and /v/ among them. Link to comment
Mycroft Posted September 2, 2010 Share #83 Posted September 2, 2010 Okay. Currahee is hitting Wutai. The Core's unaffiliated EU members are going to Cornelia, so is a majority of the Japanese players. The Gamefaqs crew are going to Lindblum. That's all for now, back to researching. Link to comment
Selyne Posted September 2, 2010 Share #84 Posted September 2, 2010 Can we get the original post updated with new info, please? =) Link to comment
Tadir Posted September 2, 2010 Share #85 Posted September 2, 2010 I think the original poster is asleep for a few hours. Link to comment
Siben Posted September 2, 2010 Author Share #86 Posted September 2, 2010 Sorry, been running around getting University stuff done and keeping up with the poll thread. I'll make another comprehensive update to the OP when I get home from classes. Link to comment
Mycroft Posted September 2, 2010 Share #87 Posted September 2, 2010 Also.. Some of the major ls'/companies on the Core's choices in servers. Seraphim - Mysidia. Pumpkin Parade - Lindblum. The Star Onions - Lindblum. Sea of Stars - Lindblum. Servants of the Twelve (S12) - Mysidia. Wandering Flames - Besaid. Order of the White Rose - Figaro. Link to comment

Asyria Posted September 3, 2010 Share #96 Posted September 3, 2010 Awww... ^^ Actually, it's an old joke, I just gave it a Kashuan twist cause it was too easy. I think the original was about a Nuthouse, too. Link to comment
Selyne Posted September 3, 2010 Share #97 Posted September 3, 2010 I've switched from Figaro to Besaid after seeing some of the communities that would be on these servers' date=' and I agree, Besaid seems like a safe choice for now. None of the groups are really throwing their hats onto that server, and as someone mentioned it's still a fairly small server, which we would easily bump up to a medium server.[/quote'] I thought FFXIV Core was going to Besaid? I don't believe there was any concrete evidence of that, outside of some random "Where are you rolling?" polls. I tried to find more info, but there really wasn't much. I believe Besaid remains, for the most part, unclaimed by any major groups. Lindblum, meanwhile, definitely has a presence from Core. Should FFXIV Core still be listed as choosing Besaid (as reported in the OP)? Link to comment
Eva Posted September 3, 2010 Share #98 Posted September 3, 2010 I'd edit the OP, but I really don't want the backlash again. Probably safe to just assume what Soren Miren said is correct. Link to comment
Rhio Posted September 3, 2010 Share #99 Posted September 3, 2010 I'd like to take a moment and thank Siben for having gotten this thread up so quickly and done such a good job at trying to keep it updated. It's been a chaotic rush, and you did good work. Link to comment
