FFXIV Alliance?

Pretty much.. Its basically a place where pretty much any linkshell (Minus the evil scary drama peoples) can get together and either share knowledge, plan multi-linkshell events, and it also gives people a place to make new friends.

Basically if someone wants to do some Mission (If they have them in XIV), Party, End game things, or just plain fun stuff, like IG Secret Santa and RP events, then they have a place to get together with more people. Its also got a place where members can put in their character info (Job Lvl ect) and members can search for people to party with that may not be in their LS, but they at least know a bit about. However, I am a full believer in the philosophy "Its your game, you pay for it, I'm not gonna tell ya what to do." lol So if you don't feel like doing events and things you don't have to.. its just there for people to have fun with. ^^

Well, I wish CrimsonBlades, HACK!, Guardians of Balance, and all your friends much luck with your RP-and-everything-else coalition. I'll be sticking it out here with the RPC and others. After all:

Whatever the case, I hope your successful in your endeavors. I am always thankful for individuals like yourself and Castiel who create a hub for like minded individuals to get together and become that much stronger and unified as a community.

 

Looking back at how things were for the Admin on the Quetz forums, I pray that you're able to endure all the hardships that are sure to come about. I'd love to see you follow through all the way on this and see it transform into something magnificient. If I can ever be of any help, just let me know.

Don't get me wrong Ave. I still stand by that quote. My level of commitment to this RP community is my number one priorty, as RP is the fav. aspect of the MMO I enjoy. I hope you are not suggesting that myself and my friends are segregating ourselves from the RPC? I love each and every person in the RPC and respect the strengths that all these different unique individuals bring to the table. If that was not the case, I wouldn't work so tirelessly to provide the RPC with benefits for the community. We are all a cog in this great machine, and I intend to continue to do what I can to help this machine steam on.

Brin this post was never about you or any one person. This was about coming across a site that appeared to be a secondary coalition of roleplaying linkshells and asking about it, then being told by its members first that it was a private group of long-term friends, then that it was a coalition for every interested linkshell. All in the space of a few hours. My curiosity was piqued, and now that the whole thing has been explained here, it's pretty much done.

I am sorry I didn't find this thread sooner, and I also apologize for the confusion. The reason I made the site was because I have friends on multiple servers with many different play styles....(My friends are scattered across Odin, Quetz, Seraph, Pheonix, and a couple other servers)

 

I wanted a place where 1. I could get my friends together so we could all end up generally in the same place on XIV. 2 After the game started hoped to have a place where people RP and Non RP can get together and meet new people and work together on things.

 

It is not a Dungeon crawl or an RP forum.. Its a place where people can do whatever they enjoy on the game and make new friends in the process. Its not in any way taking away from the RPC because its not meant as a RP Coalition.. its exactly what it says it is. It is an alliance of linkshells; RP, End game, and regular social shells all alike. The RPC is for role players only really.. this isn't. If anything my site is more like a bridge between the many types of friends I have now, and the different types of new friends I hope to make in XIV.

It's for friendly linkshells past, present, and future. We know each other and we'll get to know new linkshells in the future. That's it's intention. That's all. Of course people who are interested in us are welcome to join, what are we gonna say? we don't want to get to know you see ya! lol. Jayli is speaking in future tense here, at the moment it's just old friends

 

I'm not sure why people think we're separating from the community, especially since the NONRP linkshells of the FFXIValliance are planning on following the vote of the RPC. The RPC has a lot of power off this website as well, affecting all kinds of decisions across many communities, the FFXIValliance being one of them.

 

We have roleplaying guilds and have roleplayed with each other for many years, and we have nonrp guilds who have done endgame together for many years but are in different linkshells, of course we would make a site to bring us all together.
