Heya everyone. I am a new player to Balmung and I am somewhat new to this game.

 

Ill start with me. My role playing experience consists of 6 months on guild wars 2. Other than that I have not role played on any other game. I have played this game for about a month now but it was on another server with another character. Once i found out where the RP is going on I decided to make a new character on Balmung. My other character is level 25 gladiator so that is as much experiance i have with this game.

 

Kinda sucks to start over again but I want to be on the role playing server. I wanted to make a new character anyways so its no huge deal. I studied up on the lore and made a new hyur lancer named Colby Kenway. I admit i have been lurking these forums for a week now. It will be nice to meet everyone.

Also I can make shinies to help you in your re-levelling if you'd like- I've got all the crafts to at least the teens, most of them 20-30+ so can make just about any low-level gear you'd need!

RPing in GW2 was painful.

 

RPing in FFXIV seems almost natural.

While i'm sure you've already run into it over the last few days, i'll take a moment to plug a few of the key posts I like to link people too.

 

This welcome post is just a short over view of some of the tools here at the RPC that you'll be able to use during your stay to coordinate and interact with the community at large. The Lantern is a particular favorite of mine.

All that aside, as an in game resource I recommend taking a look at "Intermission" one of the many "OOC" linkshells on Balmung that serve to help get people together, be it just for chatting, or looking to fill roles.
