Koti Nexus Posted September 4, 2010 Share #26 Posted September 4, 2010 Here is a submission but its kinda quite and I don't know how to upload it so it plays on the net like foxfirestorm's. Don't laugh at my silly voice. >.< http://www.mediafire.com/?qddrm1dzr2j7xzw Oh, you do not have a silly voice. You have a nice deepish voice. Link to comment

It's like, while you are listening to it, you can imagine the words caressing you like a comfortable blanket. I know.....very odd way to look at it, but it is what it is. Link to comment

What's funny is Steven Blums voice is deeper than when he does Spike and it totally doesn't match his looks. Link to comment
Tagyr Posted September 4, 2010 Share #32 Posted September 4, 2010 I've always entertained the idea of voice acting. Though I never had any time to practice casting it over the net. In fact no one has ever heard me try it at home. And in any case I am no actor, just a geek with an odd sounding voicebox who doesn't hesitate to imitate or make it weirder. Here's my attempt. Behold the goofyness!! With my normal voice. - http://www.mediafire.com/?fd800vtedt9281z A English style voice. Think it's that ;p - http://www.mediafire.com/?p89150qg60xy9a6 And a Pirate style voice. - http://www.mediafire.com/?13s8p5je2bjce0z Though Firefox did an awesome job, I wouldn't mind throwing my voice in for extras if its good enough. Gerick Posted September 4, 2010 Share #33 Posted September 4, 2010 I just need a better recording device. My systems is at max input yet I sound so quite. I need a way to turn up the volume on the recordings. Link to comment
Trizzip Posted September 4, 2010 Share #34 Posted September 4, 2010 That's some good ideas. Maybe I should have done some different voices when I submitted mine. I only did my regular speaking voice  Link to comment

May I say, I love listening to your voice and thank you. X3 But yes.. I love you voice.. but then again, i love British and Australian voices. (which gets me allot of fun harassment on vent since a few guys I talk to live in that area and I have to refuse to sqwee every time I hear them talk) That's some good ideas. Maybe I should have done some different voices when I submitted mine. I only did my regular speaking voice  You probably have time I imagine to make up some more voices. Go forth and due! Show them your talent!! Link to comment
Trizzip Posted September 4, 2010 Share #36 Posted September 4, 2010 Perhaps later tonight I'll hit up Nel with some various voices. Maybe I can do the movie preview guy? "In a world...." Link to comment

Nel Celestine Posted September 5, 2010 Author Share #39 Posted September 5, 2010 Ok, Just a ~tiny~ favor to ask from here in. Please label your submissions as: (Voice Style) - (Submitter) Example: "Chipper - Nel Celestine" So it will be easier for us to distinguish. I just backtracked and changed all the ones I received (most labeled as "Narrative Submission" Link to comment
Zyanya Posted September 5, 2010 Share #40 Posted September 5, 2010 Sent a PM your way, Nel. I'm really loving these recordings! Tagyr- The pirate style was my favourite. Link to comment

I think normal is probably more suitable for a narrator but I'm kind of partial to pirate... I would definitely listen to you!!! Link to comment
Tagyr Posted September 5, 2010 Share #42 Posted September 5, 2010 I can't seem to send you a PM Nel, I have one more I'd like to add. http://www.mediafire.com/?uu0etcuwyn3x6d6 - My 'weathered' voice. Also, sorry about the naming of the previous files. And as to the pirate, it was funny, I kept trying to change the wording around as I spoke. Like instead of "This is the time" I said "This 'BE' the time". I watch too much of a certain pirate trilogy methinks. And thanks! Good to know it seems to work, though it doesn't carry the storyteller type of voice in my own opinion. Maybe if the story was retold in a bar in Limsa or something. :? Link to comment
Nel Celestine Posted September 5, 2010 Author Share #43 Posted September 5, 2010 Don't feel sorry about naming the files before! I had no idea I would get so much interest! =D Link to comment
Asytra Posted September 5, 2010 Share #44 Posted September 5, 2010 Well maybe the pirate voice could work for talltale type sea stories as told by some salty seadog? I really like the old man too, very good for a sagely storyteller type. Link to comment
Tagyr Posted September 5, 2010 Share #45 Posted September 5, 2010 Don't feel sorry about naming the files before! I had no idea I would get so much interest! =D Well, I'm surprised myself! At the end of it all the RPC will be supporting 3 types of creative media. Art, Writing and Acting, before the game is even out. It's nice. Link to comment
Nel Celestine Posted September 5, 2010 Author Share #46 Posted September 5, 2010 It's amazing. I am truly awed and inspired by everyone's support! *flamey eyes* GUTS! I can't wait for this project to take off and run wild! Link to comment
ArmachiA Posted September 5, 2010 Share #47 Posted September 5, 2010 I only have one voice, my own so I won't be submitting for that Lots of great submissions though, I'm envious of the vocal talent. I can only sing (And that's only like... once a month... ) I can probably help write it, though. I love to write so anything that gives me practice is awesome. Link to comment
Mycroft Posted September 5, 2010 Share #48 Posted September 5, 2010 I am looking forward to the coming episodes of this, not only do we have a lot of talent amongst the submissions, but the idea itself is absolutely splendid. Link to comment

Nel, you should totally have Armi on as a guest from time to time to sing JP pop. She is simply fantastic....I kid you not. Link to comment
Satisiun Posted September 5, 2010 Share #50 Posted September 5, 2010 I refuse to share my serious attempts, considering all the much more superior attempts posted up. Still, just out of boredom and a desire for lulz, I tried going to "Old Man Crackpot" route, a la Classic Western. Given, since I'm as Northeast American as they come, it falls flat at points as I try to keep the theme going. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/12/19 ... keLulz.mp3 Link to comment
