I don't believe they are meant for you to use for the entire duration of your leveling process. Link to comment

You might be leveling faster, but for long time player it will definetly end quicker at the 15th hell gate. :tonberry: So no use to the goggles unless you are a carefree chocobo :chocobo: roleplaying around and just leveling sometimes with a little :cactuar: boost. Sure, they may catch up to us in EXP, but those who start early will have: -More skills -More items and gear -Greater knowledge and skill in crafting -Easier way to travel by using the Teleport option after visiting many landmarks early on. -Overall, a far bigger boost in overall skill and development than those who start 8 days later.
